My friend and I have given this place a second, third, fourth, etc. chance, but today we swore it was the LAST time we ever go there — coupons or not. Service is horribly slow, but the main problem is that the food takes forever to come out. It is usually pretty good — it’s the time it takes to come out of that kitchen that is the problem. And it’s a continuous problem that we’ve complained to quite a few managers about. Nothing gets done. The worst part about this place is the beer soaked dirty bar rag smell that hits you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. Today was the last straw — we are done Ruby’s!

stopped in on a sunday afternoon. not super crowded, however waited a really long while to be waited on and then have our food table side. the waitress was pleasant and attentive, but seemed flustered… she forgot or was overwhelmed and we didnt get everything properly… but she apologized. good chicken tortilla soup, had a kick and the salad bar was very limited. MORE dressing choices than items. bummer… not sure if we would come back, for ehat we spent its perhaps not a great deal…

Only people in the restaurant. Service was horrible, had to wait 6 minutes for a draft beer. I had gotten up myself to get a beer bottle because I watched my draft beer sit and get warm for so long. The manager and other employees were sitting at the bar watching the tv very unaware of their surroundings. We were visiting from out of town and expected great service. We will not be returning to this location in the future. Oh yeah the game was on, guess that’s why all the employees were so preoccupied.

I popped in there one afternoon to pick up some lunch take-out. It was my first time at Ruby Tuesday. I told my waitress this, but she wasn’t very welcoming, and wasn’t helpful at all in helping me decide what to order. I settled on some french fries and chicken with BBQ sauce. It took forever for my food to come out, while the waitstaff moseyed around calmly not making eye contact with me or asking me if all is well. When it finally came out, the fries were soggy and not well-packed. I debated eating it there at least while it was still edible, but I decided I didn’t want to spend 1 more minute in that damn place. I ended up tossing out about half my food, because it was quite bland, and frankly the chicken seemed under-cooked. That’s wasted money. Quite a discouraging experience, bordering on disgusting. I guess that’s the last time I visit Ruby Tuesday.

Great place to chill in the evening and they have a lot of choices. Nice to watch Flyers games right at the bar, and atmosphere is pretty calm in the evenings.

Service was great and food was decent. I did notice that the salad bar was a little downsized. My review is to share my experience specifically with my drink. I ordered a house margarita which only taste like mix and water without a hint of tequila. I ordered an additional shot of tequila to add to my drink and then there was a faint taste of tequila in my drink. Well on my bill, I was charged 7.00 for my house margarita and another 7.00 for the tequila shot! So I spent a total of 14.00 dollars on a drink I would classify as virgin margarita. I mention this to my waitress(whose name I will leave out since she provided great service despite) and her response was that alot of people mention that their drinks are weak. The purpose of this review is to warn others that if they value their money, to maybe choose a glass of wine or beer because their alcohol is significantly inferior.

Tried to have dinner here at 5 on 12/14/2015. The place had very few customers for a busy commercial district at that hour. There was a feel of a restaurant that was ready to close for the night. I decide to eat there anyway, because it was in a convenient location. The hostess was worst than unwelcoming, she seemed almost hostile. The waiter was late to approach the table, and unabashed when he finally arrives. The rest of the staff seemed no better, being more interested in chattering among themselves, than attending to their duties. If the staff behaves like that on the floor, it makes me afraid of what is happening in the kitchen, so I walked out.

I went there on a Sunday morning. Maybe I was the first one. The bartender couldn’t find the channel I wanted to watch. For 15 minutes we were doing try and error. Then it took another 30 minutes before I saw my lunch. Too slow to me.

I went to this restaurant yesterday for takeout. I had the most delicious rib eye steak. i had the one with bella mushrooms and it was medium well done. I usually do not eat steak, but I was surprised at how tender and juicy it was. The baked potato with sour cream and butter was also good.

Let’s just all agree that the prepared food here is abysmal garbage. We all know that. The food is shipped to the restaurant frozen and prepared by people that all hate their jobs. However, they have a SALADBAR. The salad bar is actually pretty decent. If I find myself in a situation where I have to go to a chain restaurant, I’ll always choose Ruby Tuesday so that I don’t have to be forced to choose between a 2000 calorie pile of reheated slop or deep fried garbage that arrived frozen over two months ago. So, Ruby Tuesday, you get 5 stars for being the only chain in the game with enough sense to offer their patrons something at least partially fresh and healthy and give them the option to put whatever they want on their salad.

Ate here on Friday with a friend and I’m just now getting the strength to write this review. The first ref flag occurred when I walked into the restaurant and there was no one to greet me, so I just sat myself at the bar and waited for my guest to join me. 15 mins later when my friend arrived, still no greeter. So we asked a gentleman that was cleaning the bar and dressed like a bus boy who we should see about seating, to my surprise he said him. This was the second red flag, we should of just left at this point. We were finally seated at a booth and the server came to take our order. I ordered a burger and my friend a baked potato and steamed broccoli. Seems like a pretty simple order right? The food was underwhelming at best. The server basically rushed is out of the restaurant. We weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert. Did I mention that the restaurant was empty? So about an hour after leaving the restaurant I started experiencing very sharp intense stomach pains. Let’s just say that I became very well acquainted with my bathroom that night. I called my friend on Saturday morning and turns out she was experiencing the same pain. So here it is Sunday morning and I’m still not at 100‰. Needless to say I will not be eating there again.

Went here for lunch. Walked in and wondered why the place was half empty considering it’s in a prime location in liberty place, surrounded by office buildings. But I didn’t have to wonder for long. The host was nowhere to be found. When she finally came, dressed so casual you would never think she was a hostess, she led me on a tour of the place unsure where to seat me. And the floor around the salad bar was sticky like an old movie theater. So this place is empty because of the poor service. My waiter was no better. ridiculously slow considering its rush hour. How can they not understand that the place would be packed every day if people could get in and out in under an hour? The salad bar seems fresh and is a good deal. The burger was average. So although the food is nothing special, it’s really the service that guarantees I won’t be coming back.

Doesn’t even deserve a star because me and my friend didn’t even get seated. The lady asked if we’re over 18 and I am, over 18 but my friend is 17. She didn’t even bother to check my ID. Then she told us to wait while asking her fellow colleague if these little asians can eat here or not. She went to the back for a minute and came back telling us that BOTH of us have to be 18. I see little kids in this stupid restaurant but my friend and I can’t??? Never eat here before but it looks like I won’t even bother to go here even when my friend is over 18. Fuckin’ stupid smh.

I guess it is nice to have a Ruby Tuesday in the city but my is it ghetto. We entered the building and waited for bit before someone came to greet us. There were people waiting before us as well. Many people came and go and none acknowledged us. The place did not look crowded yet there was a waiting list. When we were seated the customers who came around the same time as us yelled out to complain why we were seated before them. The hostess yelled back saying she has to seat us and then she will seat them. I’m summarizing here, but if you were there in person, you thought something was going down. LOL. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating. My boyfriend said I’m picky and besides it is a Ruby Tuesday, what did I expect. The food was okay. I received a plain red velvet cupcake at the end from the restaurant, because my boyfriend said it was my birthday. I know, you’re wondering why I am here for my birthday. Prior to this we did a whole weekend elsewhere. But I am guilty as we are here because we have gift cards to use. LOL. It is what it is. I am sad though as I did not get a bull ride, people singing and clapping for me or a nice slice of cake. But a plain cupcake. Boo…

Compared to just about every other restaurant/bar in Rittenhouse, this just cannot hold a light. The burgers are meh, even the pretzel burgers, and the salad bar is very paltry. The potato salad was the only item on the salad bar that we liked. Stay away from the waldorf as the dressing was just extremely watered down. The location actually wraps the escalator well in Liberty Place so the layout is extremely convoluted. Service was decent but the overall experience left much to be desired.

Ruby Tuesday was a solid choice in New Jersey next to my hotel in the past. Even in the airport it’s an ok choice. But this visit in May ruined that opinion. The good thing is that it’s open late — I went at 10.30pm after checking into my hotel. The bad is that the food was burnt. The staff also don’t seem to be there for the customers. On entering the front desk was unmanned — I look lost, caught the eye of the the bar person who helped seat me. Ok, the restaurant is deep so staff are in the back serving or seating customers… may be. The front section has booths, then a «center» bar area and the«real» bar area. I sat at the center bar to see the TVs. I also saw the manager sit, read a magazine, eat nuts and chat with the bar person. May be it was break time. Some more customers entered, looked lost and finally got seated. The pasta order recommended to me by my server was Cajun Jambalaya Pasta. That’s Shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage sautéed with onions and peppers in a spicy Cajun cream sauce. The sausage made the whole dish too salty. But, it was ok for a few bites. Luckily I had a beer to wash it down with. But then, I see how burnt the chicken and sausage was from being under a grill. See this pic May be it was an off night for the kitchen. I should’ve sent my dish back.
