Hands down mine and my hubby’s favorite little ice cream joint. The selections are endless, the owner is always there to greet us with a smile and the end results are always spot on delicious. The only reason I have to give 4 stars is the service is quite slow. I understand it probably takes a bit to mix every individual ice cream but it takes a while when there is a line. Still won’t stop us from swinging by often!

My favorite ice cream place in Philly. A wide variety of toppings and extras to choose from!

I love this place, but it’s so frustrating to walk in and see about 15 people ahead of us in line, because it inevitably means the wait will be 30 minutes. This was the problem tonight. A party of five was being helped by all three people behind the counter, and given the time consuming nature of the product, this group took 8 minutes to be served(way too long when 15 people are behind them). We left after waiting for ten minutes and only moving up one party. The management has to develop another more efficient way of moving through the line — perhaps one server works on each party(unless the party is of a larger size), etc. The product is super and the service is great once they get to you. The owner is always present and he’s a friendly guy. I will continue to support them, but I can’t bring myself to wait 30 minutes for a small ice cream!

The service was good and servers were friendly. My frozen yogurt tasted like I had a mouth full of chalk maybe it didn’t get mixed enough. Others in my party did not feel the same and enjoyed their yogurt. I should have asked them to remake my ice cream but we were in a hurry. I would try this again.

Yummy ice cream spot conveniently located in the heart of the city! I «only» got chocolate froyo in a chocolate waffle cone but it was delicious! Next time I’ll have to try the blended flavors! The staff is super friendly too!

Cool concept but the ice cream wasn’t anything special. They have a cool mixing device that puts the toppings into the ice cream. But the base is store bought average ice cream. We were very disappointed when we left. Oh ya, there are so many options of toppings it gets confusing. They need to streamline the concept.

If you need favors for a shower or wedding, you should try the chocolate covered Oreo cookies. There were four to a package. Two were decorated with a bride and groom and the other two were covered with white sprinkled dots. Our guests were thrilled with the treats. We live in Illinois and ordered them online. They arrived intact and in plenty of time before my daughter’s shower. A special thank you to Spencer, owner of Scoop Deville.

The workers are always exceptionally friendly and excited to help with ideas, and the ice cream itself is definitely yummy. I adore the giant board of mixins that gives you a fully customizable encounter and never disappoints! Plus, the candy shop has some excellent choices too, both behind the counter and on the selves of specialization items.

«Gimme a break»(chocolate yogurt, kit kat, malt, nutella, and graham crackers) is AMAZINGOMG. The blend of candies in ice cream is unbelievable! Perfect amount of toppings, perfect blend, perfect soft-serve texture(ice cream is hard but after being blended, it’s like soft serve). Blended ice cream is a MUST here!

Sometimes I crave real ice cream, not soft serve or frozen yogurt, and I know a trip to Scope DeVille is in order. I am absolutely a toppings gal, and this place truly has it all, even protein powder!(But why would you ruin ice cream like that???). Their sundaes always look delicious but I have never gotten one, just sticking with the regular ice cream and toppings. They do make custom blends or one of their recommendations, which means basically pulverizing the toppings you want into the ice cream of your choice. They also have a «lite» menu of under 250 calorie ice creams, if that is your thing… I just signed up for their rewards program(via phone number) and they already texted me a buy one get one for $ 2 ice cream! As if I need another reason to go back… Note: There is some seating, but no more than for 8 people. Plenty of standing room though!

I love this place! Their take on blended ice cream is a major winner. Also, they sell other assorted treats, like fudge, and chocolate-covered things, so you really cannot go wrong. My favorite combination is vanilla ice cream with Golden Grahams, peanut butter, and Nutella.

I was under the impression that this was regular, run-of-mill ice cream store until I got a chance to look at the menu. Scoop Deville mixes their ice cream with their toppings(like ColdStone, but better), so that not everything is just concentrated on the top. (+) –Variety of ice cream flavors AND frozen yogurt –Endless combos of toppings –A special under 250 calorie menu(which is still delicious) –Huge servings — I got a small, and honestly this was the largest small ice cream I’ve ever consumed, so even though the price might seem a bit high($ 5/small) it’s a LOT of ice cream –PB&J crunch: Berry frozen yogurt mixed with peanut butter, malt powder, and captain crunch; it sounds strange, but tastes delicious. (-) –Extremely slow service. Don’t go here if you’re short on time — I’m pretty sure we waited 20 minutes when there were 4 – 5 people in front of us. –Limited seating So if you’re looking for a delicious twist on normal ice cream– Scoop Deville is the place to be. Just be aware that the line moves a lot slower than you think it would.

This ice scream spot is okay. I was disappointed honestly. I came around 10pm on a Saturday night and the place was empty. It still took about 20 minutes for me to get my ice cream. They ran out of one of the toppings I wanted. The girls working were working very slow. At a certain point, I didn’t even want my ice cream anymore and this was when the place was empty. Imagine how long the wait would be if I came during prime spring/summer time in the afternoon? It looked like the girls were filling orders for something else since I saw them making and packing ice cream. This place needs to hire more people and have dedicated servers for online/phone orders and servers for in person orders. My ice cream looked liked an ice cream milkshake. It was a big thick soupy cup of ice cream. The ice cream tasted good, but it was nothing special. The mix in’s of the toppings reads me of coldstone except this is more milkshake consistency like since they put it in a machine to mix everything. Maybe if the wait wasn’t so long, I would be back, but for something that doesn’t taste great and nor worth the wait, I won’t be back.

So I went to Scoop Deville for the very first time yesterday(even though I’m there for work all the time). Stumbled in after a work meeting, thought I’d get some goodies for the kids for spring break, and then was distracted to get a treat for myself. The server who was helping me was soooo helpful — she spent extra time with me explaining the menu, some popular blended items, and the chocolates and cannolis, including what to avoid for kids with nut allergies. She gave me a taste of the coffee ice cream(Bassetts which is always awesome) and it was just what I needed. I was ready to order a small scoop for myself and a bunch of chocolates to make the kids happy. As I started to order, the owner(I think) decided to tell me why my choices were wrong. I’m still completely unsure if he was trying to up-sell me or if he just needed to be right about his tastes vs mine. Ultimately, when I stuck to what I wanted, he insulted my choice. So I walked out without ordering.(In hindsight, I’m unsure why I didn’t just go to Bassetts at Reading Terminal.) Instead I went to Xe Lua(an old favorite in Chinatown aka choo-choo) and got a Vietnamese coffee — reliably yummy and reliably served pleasantly without any cross examination. And the kids got hot chocolate at home. All in all a good deal. Needless to say, I won’t be going back for any scoops.

I love ice cream so much that I treat it like its own food group. I just discovered that Scoop Deville has non-dairy ice cream, and it is good. Plus, owner Spencer has made a few additions to the suggested, but not mandatory, flavors. Try the one that tastes like a PBJ. you won’t be disappointed.

I like this ice scream shop for its creative flavors. My current fave flavor is Girl Scout Samoa flavor– coconuts, caramel and vanilla ice cream is yum! Frozen banana in the fridge for $ 2 along with cookies and homemade candies for sale. This is a cute shop with limited seating

I’ve been to Scoop Deville many times over the last 2 years and I really enjoy the options they have. The variety of options are almost endless. The only on and off issue that I have is with the service, it can be very long when a couple people are in front of you. Usually, it doesn’t take too long but I’ve experienced slow service a few times too many.

Waited half an hour for the lady to take my order and I left because I got impatient. Not enough staff to handle less than 5 customers. Shame I won’t ever taste their ice cream because it was a waste of time.

The ice cream is delicious. My company used to get ice cream cakes for birthdays from the old location, and they’ve ruined me for other ice cream cakes. But. The service is painfully slow. Scoop Deville is on GrubHub and does delivery, which is great in theory because who wouldn’t want ice cream delivered to their door? The problem is when you staff only two people behind the counter and one is tasked exclusively to delivery orders because there are so many delivery orders. That means one person is taking orders for walk-ins. So if anyone in your group, or the group ahead of you, orders anything other than a scoop of ice cream in a cup, you’re going to be there awhile. Make sure your cell phone is charged or bring a book. Hopefully they will expand their staff sometime. And spruce up the place with some lighting and more tables because currently it just doesn’t feel inviting.

Very cute décor. Amazing ice cream and lots of options. You can make your own combination or choose from their selection. I got coffee ice cream with Oreos, coffee beans and chocolate syrup — blended — it’s a little softer after the blender but everything was mixed together perfectly. It was delicious. A few people I was with ordered the strawberry shortcake(an option the ice cream shop offers) and they loved it!!! I think they could use a little more seating. I will definitely be back!

I don’t know what happened to the old review i posted, but here it is again with some new stuff. Scoop DeVille is back and even better:) Neater menu. Same amazing ice cream. Same millions of toppings to satisfy my ever changing tastes. And a lot of different combos and recommendations I would never think of! And they are open late now and even deliver. Their crazy oreo, peanut butter, etc. dream combo is amazing!!! Chocolate salted caramel combo is great as well. Strawberry shortcake was wow. Milkshakes are delicious. Their fat free ice cream tastes the same as the regular ice cream. Surprisingly, it is just as stiff as well which I like. The staff is always super friendly and they always have good suggestions. One time, they suggested I put cereal in my mix to give it a crunch and it worked out so well! Definitely will keep coming back :)

Scoop Deville is a cute place to stop by after dinner in center city. If you like your milkshakes or ice cream blends, you can choose from the popular mixes or create your own! My friends and I shared a medium cup of «The Charlie Brown,» made with vanilla ice cream base which was blended with peppermint patties, nutella and chocolate chip cookie dough. Then, hot fudge to top it all off. We really liked the combination of all the ingredients, they complimented each other really well. Essentially, it was a cup full of sugar… definitely a treat! Be prepared, one cup is plenty and super sweet. If I wasn’t sharing it between 3 other girls, there was no way I would have finished one by myself! It’s a little pricey for what you get, but it was worth trying something new. The interior is very pink and blue, a cute way that exemplifies an ice-cream shop! The service was kind of slow, but at least they were friendly!
