This company is in the process of relocating. Megan was very accommodating and met me at my home for the consultation and was very understanding of my tight time constraint. I’m looking forward to picking up my finished place cards tomorrow. I’ll post a picture if the finish product :)

My mom, her fiancé, and I stopped in to Sealed with a Kiss today so that we would hopefully get the ball rolling on her much needed wedding stationary. First off, this was a much needed trip because my mother, who is a procrastinator, has not shown one ounce of urgency with ordering anything for her wedding which is in June, and I needed something to be ordered soon. With stationary services being so conveniently accessible on the internet and all, we became internet browsing junkies, emailing and calling about what was so cute and what she should order. We obviously got nowhere with that. So, we walked in and were immediately greeted by Megan, one of the owners. She did a quick, informal assessment of what was needed and then seated the bride and groom and let them choose what they wanted. As they did their thing, I checked out the favors, place card holders, bridal party gifts, and whatever else cute stuff that was there on display. I made several mental notes on what else would be needed and also decided that they would be our one-stop-shop. By the time I was done with that, the kids(my mom and her fiancé) had chosen a save-the-date! The order was placed and we were on our way but not before Megan answered all of our questions and gave my mother a folder that will keep her on track with her order. Sealed with a Kiss works because everything is there to look at, touch, and compare in the flesh. There is a human there to help out as well. Being there for the hour or so that we were, helped me realize that I like that old school human feel. I miss it and for that reason, I savor it when I can. And I did. When Megan started talking about Facebook, I almost jumped on my soapbox to tell her that I’m not on it but decided I had already talked so much that her face probably hurt. Anyway, what I like most about Sealed with a Kiss though is that it’s right in South Philly, in the neighborhood where I grew up and still call home. There aren’t many gems like this in residential neighborhoods anymore. I felt as comfortable in there as I would at my house(well probably not that comfortable, but you get what I mean). Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. Because this review is based on the initial visit, I’ll post a follow-up or edit once we are completely finished working with them.

If you’re looking for a place to do printing for a party, invitations, or any stationary needs, Sealed with a Kiss is great! My wife and I had our Save the Dates done there, mostly because it was close. They did such great work, and were really helpful with navigating our design choices. We loved the work they did, and ended up going to them for our invitations, seating chart, and table cards. We also had them design some programs for our wedding, and print our vows in English and Chinese. Megan and Ian do great work, and are really helpful to work with. I highly recommend them.
