Ramika and her team of stylists are AMAZING! Ramika and 4 of her stylists and makeup artists came to Career Wardrobe and provided mini-makeovers for 30 unemployed women in an effort to boost their self-esteem and get them ready for a head shot to use in their job search. For 5 hours straight, these 5 women provided hair and makeup services in a friendly and professional manner to 30 women — many of whom were a little hesitant to get a makeover. Ramika and her team were extremely welcoming to the women and donated so much time and product to the cause! These ladies do excellent hair, fabulous makeup, and give back to their community with a smile on their face. A+ service!

I recently moved to the Philadelphia area and am in need of finding a sytlist. I get my hair done(roller sets) weekly so it’s important that I find someone ASAP lol. I called Shear Ingenuity on a Tuesday and was able to get an afternoon appointment on Saturday. The stylist that answered the phone was very pleasant. She asked me what I wanted done and set the appointment. She even called the evening before to confirm my appointment. I was impressed so far. When I arrived at the shop the door was locked… I had to knock to get it opened. I’m assuming it’s a security measure. Anyway… I waited about 10 minutes before my stylist came to greet me. When she sat me in the chair she asked me why I prefer roller sets over getting it curled. I explained that I like the body and I don’t like to put a lot of heat on my hair. I should’ve known it would go down hill from there… I could tell she was uncomfortable and so I asked her if she did a lot of roller sets and she said no. It took FOREVER. And because she didn’t roll them tight she had to go through with the flat iron to straighten my roots. Not to mention she charged $ 65…for a roller set?! :sigh: Back to the drawing board…
