Ordered delivery 30 mins before they closed after my girlfriend and I had a terrible day. Delivery was quick, they were able to find our house so we didn’t need to run down the street, delivery guy was pleasant, and the food was good. Not amazing Chinese but great for what it is. Definitely eating here again.

Good. Not Amazing but a solid spot for Chinese takeout. I appreciate the free food items when you a spend a certain amount. Seriously who doesn’t love free food. Quick and friendly service.

I had the typical dishes, general tzo, shrimp toast, and szechuan beef. Awful.
The chicken was mostly a batter, tasted old, no flavors in sauce. Shrimp toast was literally dripped in grease and burnt. The bee smelled funny and chewy. I just never had this kind of bad food. It’s not even average tasting.

it’s ok. it’s good Chinese food for philly, nothing like good nyc Chinese food. I prefer it over other local Chinese food places as this place does not make me sick. They are usually pretty quick on their deliveries. staff is always working very hard and are nice

Good, tasty food and service that has never let me down! I do concur with the other reviews general Tso is not their forte but I have never been disappointed with anything else, and let’s be real guys… General Tso isn’t «real» Chinese food to begin with.
I love their soups and the woman who answers the phone has never been anything but courteous.
I’ve been living in this neighborhood for 4 years and their food had been a staple, tasty substitute for late night cooking, and savior in this full time student and corporate 9−5ers life when I don’t have the time (or energy) to make dinner. Thanks guys!

Okay so I ordered on the phone about 6 dishes that cost me over $ 50. The person on the phone was very rude to me and told me they were very busy and they don’t have time to wait on me. Honestly, I only took about 4 to 5 minutes. So I ordered my food and waited. I ordered at 5:25 and it took more than 2 HOURS to deliver what kind of outrages resteraurant does that? I had called more than 5 TIMES and they still told me my food was on the way and the women on the phone was very annoyed with me. I just wanted my food, that’s all. I waited and waited, and my food get here at 7:35. I paid the delivery guy and the guy just took the money and ran. I opened my food and unsurprisingly it was cold. I didn’t bother calling and heated it up myself. Then I had realized they had only have gave me 4 out of 6 dishes so I called and they told me they gave me all the dishes I gave up and told them they are the best chinese place ever.

The shrimp egg food young is REALLY good. Although, I agree with the other reviewer, the general tso chicken is not good at all! The ironic thing about that is, they received numerous awards for that dish. Not sure how! The shrimp and broccoli is not good either. I gave it 3 stars because the shrimp egg foo young is good and it’s hard to find it as good as when I was younger lately.

Shee Yuan’s food is what you would expect from a typical Chinese take-​out place. The food can be vaguely greasy and not feel heart-​healthy at times, but it is a good choice for a quick dinner when you’re craving Chinese food. I generally find Shee Yuan’s quality to be slightly higher than some of the other take-​out places in the area.
The food is also reasonably priced (cheap!), and you get huge portions, so it’s definitely worth the money. I recommend picking up your order to save on the delivery time– I’ve never had to wait more than 20 minutes after I call for food.
Order the pork-​fried rice. My favorite thing on the menu.
