Get the chicken and rice platter! You will not be disappointed. Great portions of chicken for the price and comes with sunnyside up egg.($ 5.50)

I waited soooo long for my food but the Tofu Banh Mi I got was really delicious. I thought it was pretty worth it. I would definitely try to go back at a non peak hour though cause it was just too slow at lunch time.

I always walked past this truck and was drawn to a pork banh mi that was $ 4.50. Seemed a little to good to be true. On my lunch break I decided to walk across the street and order that pork Sammie. The women in the truck very nice and whipped up my sandwich promptly. That pork Banh mi was the best $ 4.50 I’ve spent. The roll was both crunchy and soft, the pork was sweet and flavorful, great crunch from veggies and perfect bit a heat from jalapeños. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I wish there was more pork in the sandwich.

I just had their Tacos and they are a PARTYINMYMOUTH! All the ingredients go so well together inside a small soft taco. Their pork Vietnamese sandwich is also very heavenly. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. It is a MUST try!

Have tried two things here. The buffalo chicken wrap which was certainly passable and the pork banh mi. The banh mi apparently is the most popular item in the menu and the pork variety was recommended by the nice lady who works in the food truck. The banh mi was good, I requested extra jalapeños, which was a good idea and elevated the overall taste of the sandwich, if you can handle a little bit if heat. There are a lot if food trucks in the area so this is one of the first few I have tried. It is close to work, so if I am in a hurry and want to grab lunch quick, this will be the truck.

Imo, one of the three best food options at Temple. The Asian-inspired chicken with rice is my go-to dish, but the lemongrass pork is also awesome and the banh mis are great as well. They also have all the other food truck fare, but I haven’t really tried it. They used to have Vietnamese tacos which were pretty good, but I don’t think they are on the menu anymore. In my experience, the person who takes orders seems kind of cold at first, but warms up to regular customers.

This food truck is the BEST! Things I LOVE Cheese fries. Sweet Potato Fries. Regular Fries. We used to ask for ranch, hot sauce, and ketchup on the side and this is the only thing that got me through exams. BANHMI. It’s so good. Chicken or Pork. Haven’t tried tofu yet but I will. WONTONNOODLESOUP. It’s the only thing that gets me through the winter and the only thing I want when I have a cold. Their breakfast sandwiches are also HUGE and very cheap. The owner is super friendly, awesome, loves chatting up the customers and learning their names. Sometimes I stop just to chat with her. You can also call ahead and she’ll make it for you so it’s ready when you get there.

On first glance, Simply Yummy may look like your typical burger, cheesesteak, and sandwich truck. But look closer. They offer some more interesting, Vietnamese-inspired dishes, like rice platters and wonton soup. There’s one item in particular I keep coming back for at Simply Yummy: the banh mi. The prices are decent, too: $ 5 for about a foot’s worth of banh mi goodness. You can choose from chicken or pork, either of which will be tenderly grilled and juicy and stuffed into a huge, pillowy bun. And that bread bun! Crusty and hardy on the outside, yet fluffy and meat-juice absorbing on the inside. They really stuff the sandwich with meat here; beware of pieces falling out while you eat! Nice lemongrassy flavors, pickled string-shredded vegetables, and jalapenos for a bit of heat. There might be some gristle, though, but it’s not much. The ladies who work here are friendly, accommodating, and get through a line quickly.
