I wish I could have experienced what the others before me have, but I had an unfortunate fate. I excitedly went to the Skyline Stage at Mann to attend a Lana Del Rey concert. Perhaps the problem was with her fans or perhaps it was the lack of decent security that hindered me from enjoying her show. I left before she even finished her first song because the crowd decided to go ape and stampede. As for the venue itself, the facility looks nice. The atmosphere I’m sure has potential to be great. I would just recommend attending a show without crazy fans or else you’ll be left to fend for yourself because the security is surely deficient.

An hour late after doors opened, we made it in to one of my newest favorite venue spots! Who am I kidding? I love EVERYTHING in Philly. I hope one day it could be my second home! We found parking right up front, didn’t have to pay the usual $ 15 parking fee, and watched the last half of the Arctic Monkeys. It was such a good show and everyone there were so cool about us squeezing our way to the front of the stage. Didn’t have a chance to buy any concessions or merch from the booths but when we exited out of the venue we were absolutely blown away by the skyline view of Philly. AH perfect way to end a good night.

Awesome venue. Clean grounds, courteous staff, nice soft grass. The food truck concessions are a real plus!

I really enjoyed the Skyline Stage at the Mann. It was a very relaxed atmosphere in which to see a concert and the smaller space made for a more intimate setting in which to see a concert. Definitely bring a blanket to sit on for more chill shows. If you want to be close, you still need to get in and get seated early. We got there just as the opener was beginning and were fairly far back. We were still able to see and enjoy the show, but we were by no means close to the stage. Also, I had eaten dinner ahead of time, but they had a bunch of cute food trucks to enjoy. Everything smelled delicious. We ended up having ice cream from the Little Baby’s tricycle stand part way through the show and that was a fun, unexpected addition to the evening. I’ll definitely be looking for shows here in the future. It was a fun evening.
