Something Different...In Flowers

«Something Different» helped make my wedding day absolutely perfect! Not only were the flowers themselves gorgeous, vibrant, and arranged better than I had envisioned… but they never batted an eyelash when I mentioned me bringing in over 100 of my own vases that I had collected over the past year. Storing, arranging, and transporting all of those vases was such a huge undertaking and all I ever heard from Something Different was that «it will look beautiful.» I would go with them time and time again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable yet stunning florist in Philadelphia.

Unprofessional, deceptive, angry and utterly rude!
At least that one guy was when I called to inquire why the elegant bouquet I selected and paid for was changed into a tacky, cheaper supermarket version with inferior quality flowers and much much inferior (nonexistent) arrangement.
Instead of saying «sorry, «or explaining that maybe they delivered the wrong bouquet or sent me a wrong pic of the tacky arrangements, that guy went lunatic on me on the phone and hung up! No discussion. No apologies. No explanations.
Then he called again from a different number with verbal abuses.
What kind of business is this?
Another reviewer apparently was also hung up on as I saw below.
Apparently, that guy thought it was okay to change my order all on his own for his own cheap convenience while still getting paid for a better service! In other words, it’s okay to cheat customers after they’ve paid and expected decent services then it’s okay to insult them, yell at them and hang the phone on them when they call to check what happened to their order!
This is beyond weird. It’s unethical.
I order flowers all the time for family and friends to celebrate different occasions and never experienced anything this crazy. I must clarify that when I placed my order the lady I spoke with seemed fine. It’s that nutty man who claimed to be the owner and refused to give his name, «None of your business,» he said, when I asked for his name. He also said «You must be hard at hearing,» when I expressed shock at his furious demeanor. Yikes.
Gross customer service.

Just had my wedding and they did my flowers! Words cannot describe how perfect they turned out! Everyone could not get over how beautiful our bouquets were! They were a joy to work with, prices were affordable and the end results were absolutely incredible! Would recommend them to everyone who wants perfect wedding flowers!

After I placed an online order, I received a call from the florist that they would not deliver it unless I paid an additional $ 4 on top of the product cost, the delivery fee, and taxes. I had already ordered, paid for, and received a receipt confirmation for the $ 36 order. They decided to cancel the order and hung up on me.
Their reasoning was they will only deliver an order of $ 40 or more, despite the fact that they offered something else on their website and had already accepted the order — credit card information and all.

The level of care and attention to detail that Angelo provides is impressive, to say the least. I was a first time customer. It was Valentine’s Day. What all that I’m sure must have been going on in the flower shop that day, he took the time to call me when they could not deliver and patiently stayed on the phone while I tried to call myself, and then allowed me to redirect the flowers to the pharmacy where my girlfriend works in another part of Philly. He even knew where it was without my providing the address. The flowers were beautiful, the arrangement was breathtaking, it was great value, and I’m told even the delivery person was very sweet and nice. I cannot more highly recommend Angelo and Something Different in Flowers. He now has a customer for life.
