My new favorite take’out place. Sorry Bravo II pizza Sorentos is starting to take your spot all together. Salads are fresh. Pizza is flavorful. Quesadillas are flavorful. So far my food has always arrived hot and have yet to have a bad experience. Glad they stuck a menu in my door.

Food was perfectly fine, but have had the same nasty delivery driver twice getting angry that he had to come up to my apartment like the delivery instructions said. I’m sorry that you didn’t read the receipt and acted like I was an idiot for not coming down to you. You can take the two minutes required to come up to my floor and ring my doorbell. I’m seriously hoping this guy gets fired eventually.

This place really doesn’t deserve any stars. Worse delivery place ever! Order my food through Eat 24 and waited for an hour and 45 minutes and nothing. Decided to call the restaurant and the girl rudely and quickly said their closed and hung up. Spoke to the representative from Eat 24 to be told that the girl who confirm my order didn’t place my food in. I will never ever order here ever again!

The delivery was very fast and accurate based on the online prediction. I ordered a white pizza with cheese fries and they were both pretty good. I love the crust on the pizza. The cheese on the fries is very tasty not too salty like most of it is. Will order from here in the future.

Really nice shop that offers pretty fast service on large orders — like class parties. Food is always hot and fresh. Worth the money and no complaints!

This place is crazy crowded after high school lets out. It’s actually a very good place to grab a slice of order out. Eating in isn’t bad either. Their quality definitely isn’t #1 but they’re much nicer than the people at Explorer’s Den.

They didn’t get my order right. Overall, the food was average. It’s expensive here, too. They charge for cups and they were out of ice. Also, there was an all white cat walking around in the restaurant. Yes, in the restaurant! I’m a cat lover, BUT it’s not professional or hygienic to have a cat roaming around the restaurant and kitchen. The cashier told me that the cat usually stays in the basement, but I guess it was out for good behavior.

If I could I would leave no stars. I ate a cheesesteak from Sorrento’s and got a bad case of stomach cramps and diarrhea. DONOTEATSORRENTO’S, unless you like to get sick.

I love this place especially for the salads. They comes in a great garlic bread bowl and it is a decent portion of the salad. Always fresh and prices are good for their stuff. Only thing I don’t enjoy there, it’s a long delivery. I live about 0,6 mi away and it takes around 45 to 60 min to deliver my food. Other than that, if you are in the area, this is a place to go for a nice lunch.

Ordered chicken alfredo through GrubHub, and accidentally placed it through as pickup when I meant delivery. Luckily, GrubHub has an option online to immediately change it to delivery if you made a mistake. This change was confirmed almost immediately by a text from a GrubHub number. The estimated pickup time was about 15 – 20 minutes after I placed the order, so I assumed that the food would be ready by that time. My food wasn’t delivered until a whole hour after my order was placed(the delivery address is 5 minutes up Olney Ave just past La Salle). By the way the food tasted, it was obvious that it was sitting in its bag long after it was made, as my order was cold, and noodles were soft and overcooked from the constant steam inside the container. I called Sorrento’s, and they told me it was MYFAULT that I had to get the order changed to delivery, and it took GrubHub 20 minutes to confirm that change. I called GrubHub and they said they notified Sorrento’s of the change 6 minutes after I placed my order, so I guess Sorrento’s lied to me. On top of that, GrubHub had to call the restaurant for me to figure out what my options would be… and they wouldn’t offer a refund, only that they’d make me wait to remake my food and redeliver it or give me $ 3 towards a new order. Are you kidding me? GrubHub had to offer me a $ 5 coupon out of their pocket, which I’d use anywhere else but Sorrento’s. I’m giving this place 2 stars for lying to me. The only reason I didn’t give this place a 1 star for my experience is because I enjoyed this place when I was in high school. This place needs to claim accountability for the quality of their food. Otherwise, this is a basic takeout place with more than average menu options.

Just tried this place for the first time and I am more than satisfied! I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, and this is the first place that actually seasons their chicken for the sub! All the ingredients were excellently portioned and it was a thick sub. I will surely be ordering from this place from now on for a quick delivery. After I hung up, my food was delivered in 10 minutes! Great place to order and eat from!

Olney, North Philly My quick spot located by Central High School to grab a slice. Quiet when I go there. Chill spot.

I ordered buffalo wings fried hard & a salad with romaine lettuce. My salad was delivered iceberg lettuce who still uses that it has no nutritional value besides I specifically said romaine. The wings looked like they had already cooked them had the sauce on them and placed back in the fryer they had this weird taste and looked like something from an alien movie. So now I drive to the Sorranos to take it back I asked for the manager he made every excuse in the book. He said we usually don’t give money back it’s too much. How did he think I felt paying that much for gross food. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but the manager really got under my skin. Won’t be ordering here again!

The pizza here is to die for. Whenever I visit my family in the Olney section of Philadelphia, this is my first choice to order pizza. I recently tried their rib platter and was blown away. The ribs were so juicy, the meat was literally falling off the bone… yummy!!! I devoured the crust on the pizza, which is unusual since I normally don’t eat pizza crust! TWO thumbs UP for the food, great service, and super fast delivery. I have no complaints! Update: July 30, 2015: Placed an order for two cheese steaks and the food was just as good as the first time we went. This will definitely be our go to spot in Olney.

Waited about…25 minutes to get my food. After watching about 7 other people egt my food, I decided to go up to the counter and ask where my food was. The guy at the counter looked confused then said«oh… yeah its coming up» then it was out in a matter of minutes. It was good, however, being on my lunch break I ended up having to eat it on the subway, which kind of ruined my whole day. The food was delicious and it was a good deal, but this experience adding to an already bad day just made the whole meal a very angry one for me. I would be willing to MAYBE go here again, since food in this area is slim pickings. Not until I cool down a bit, though.

I called up a disgruntled Papa John’s employee, clearly disturbing her evening and tried to place an order. After actually considering paying $ 19.48 and waiting over an hour for a pizza(from a shop 4 minutes away), I canceled my order and called up Sorrento’s. The woman on the phone was polite, and most of all competent. She helped me figure out what I wanted and told me my total($ 15) without me having to ask– which is not always the case. My large pizza with«The Works»(pepperoni, hamburger, and veggies) came 25 minutes later, piping hot., with a bottle of ice cold green tea Ginger Ale. The delivery guy was pleasant, end of transaction. The pizza was delicious. I’m not a crust eater, but I ate all of mine. This crust is soft and fluffy and tastes incredibly fresh. And they don’t skimp on the toppings either. Sorrento’s was definetely the right decision. They have a large menu and deliver until 11pm, which is great for this area(I refuse to write anything negative about North Philly, but I’m just saying). And it’s walking distance from the Lasalle and Central High campuses. I’m a fan!
