What an awesome place to hang out and get cheap beers. The bartenders are great and the owner is the coolest guy ever.

Love this place for some cheap beers and good wings. They always have great specials on drinks and even though it’s a down to earth neighborhood place, the owner stocks the bar with some good craft beers as well. Wings are great too. The owner is a really nice guy. Don’t get sucked into overpriced Main Street bars… this place is where it’s at

Bar over serves then they either have physical fights or verbal screaming matches outside. I also heard a gunshot once. Who cares about classy when it’s just not safe and is a trashy place. Worst bar in manayaunk.

Fun place to go for a drink and food. I go down from time to time and enjoy watching the Phils or Flyers with some of the regulars. Everyone there seems really down to earth, the female bartenders are pretty cute, and I really like the food I’ve gotten. I really like the chicken quesos and the bacon cheeseburger in particular. Other than that it’s your typical bar, they have some games, darts, and one of the mytouch jukeboxes. Overall, big fan of the place for relaxing and having a beer and watching a game (they have like 4 or 5 big-​screen flat panel tv’s).
PS: I think Tuesday nights are amateur bartender nights which is a pretty good time.

I lived right up the street from this bar for about a year and would often head down to watch the Phils and grab a few beers and dinner. The owner is a really nice dude and you can head down there in a tshirt and jeans and fit right in.
The wings are pretty decent and occasionally they have $ 1 tacos, which are actually pretty good. They also for some reason have ridiculously hot female bartenders — no clue why because there is never that many people in there.
So if you are looking for a place to watch a game, grab a bite to eat and get some cheap booze this is not a bad place.

Spanky’s has all of the potential to be a great corner establishment. Decent drinks, intimate atmosphere and a variety of entertaining games (MegaTouch, Golden Tee, Darts, etc). However, when I was last there, the bar tender was awful. It was a Friday night and there was a low to medium sized crowd there and she seemed like she was completely overwhelmed tending by herself. Then once she settled down, she basically ignored my friends and me when we tried to order our drinks. Whatever, I worked at a bar for seven years and know what it is like to have an off-​night, but then she told us that she was doing last call at 1:15 AM. Last call with all of the lights on and the music still blasting? I’d definitely go back because aside from that bartender the place was pretty cool, but it is what it is, you know?

Great place to just grab a beer and hang out. None of the ‘typical’ Main St stuff here. Nice variety of people from townies, to college kids to late 20s crowd. If you go be sure to attack the Buck Hunter game — its addictive.
