No stars. Gross gross and more gross. Everything is old, dirty and smells like mold. No has cleaned anything in this place in years. Most of the machines are broke and it costs more than any other laundry mat. Pass on this dump.

I’ve been to this laundromat twice because it is the closest one in my neighborhood. The off street parking is nice and it is never too crowded. Most washers are broken, however, and the doors to the dryers keep opening so it’s best that you stay there and watch your clothes as they are being cleaned. The worst part is that it is pretty pricey but the laundromat does not give you quarters. There is a machine for dispensing quarters but it is always out of order so you need to make sure you have quarters before you go.

«We won’t give you quarters to do your laundry» After the lady at the front of the store is on the phone for 10 minutes ignoring me. Worst ghetto laundromat ever. The black lady at the front of the store is rude an unwelcoming. I hope she is fired and that this place closes down and something else worthwhile for the neighborhood opens up here. Every machine is broken fyi.

Don’t waste your time or money. They get one star for off street parking and not being too crowded. Which may be due to the fact it is expensive(see earlier review on this topic) but the larger issue is on any given visit 50 to 60% of the mid-size washers are OOO or Out Of Order. But you likely won’t know that until you’ve poured in your detergent and softener and will have to re-lo your laundry into another washer and continue the game of Clothes Washer Roulette! Not on my time or dime thank you very much. Oh, and just when you think you are home free with the wash you realize the machine does not dispense the softener liquid. Gotcha! So pretty much $ 12 wasted and most importantly 2 hrs. Wasted. Side note: I did talk to the owner Dan, who was concerned and considerate and promised to look into the problem. So, stay tuned. I’ll give it one more try. But only because of the ease of parking. For No other reason!

A little pricey as laundromats go, but it will do the job — your clothes will get clean and dry. It’s not that the place itself is actually unclean, but it feels fairly unclean. I don’t know what it is — the lighting, maybe? The clientele? Something about being in this laundromat just feels a little gritty, but it could be just me. On the upside, there are ample clean tables for folding laundry, and enough washers and dryers that I’ve never had to fight someone for an available machine.

Never have I ever been to a laundry that was this expensive. Just moved to Philly so it was a bit shocking that a basic«top load» machine was $ 3(typically $ 1.25), a small«front load» was $ 4(typically 2.50), & Large machine was a whopping $ 5.25(typically 3.25). Dryers $.25 for 6minutes. I mean seriously? I have never seen anything lower than ten minute dry cycle. Obviously your things aren’t going to dry with one quarter. Prep for a four quarter minimum spend per dryer. From Chicago so seeing these prices in a not so major city was shocking. Next time won’t let the clothes pile up so I can just knock it out at home. Nonetheless, I got laundry done. If you are headed here be ready to pay up!

Oh my goodness, this place is not cheap. 3 $ to wash and 25cents for 8 minutes of dry makes for a $ 10 dollar affair for a load of lights and a load of darks. Then you’ll pull out your light load and it will be covered with horrible orange grease and human hair. I’m giving them back a star because the lady at the counter was also totally horrified and gave me a free wash in a different washer, which got rid of the grease and hair — but this was the experience that got me to invest in a washing machine. Then…(fast forward three years)…washer broke. I went back to Spring Garden, and it seems they might be under new managment. Still pricey, but clean, you get your laundry done, its all fine. There is also a parking lot, which is a major bonus if you have a ton of awkward laundry, and they do drop off, and are open late. What do you want from a laundromat? Clean laundry! Spring Garden Laundromat, we are now at peace.

Went once months ago and it was okay. There is no real comfortable place to sit with a laptop so that was frustrating. Wanted to go back today but their hours are posted NOWHERE online. Called ten times, constantly put into a generic voicemail with no recorded greeting and no info about hours. It’s 2012 — how do people conduct business this way?
