As a hotel restaurant/bar, it’s a fairly nice place. A big upgrade from the usual hodgepodge that some hotels put together. Let’s be honest though, you should NOT come here unless you’re staying in the Sheraton Society Hill. Why? The prices are outrageous and far exceed the ‘atmosphere’. A $ 15 quesadilla? No thanks. $ 17 burger? Nope. Prices like this are not what you come to Philly for. The food happens to be decent and the presentation is certainly nice, but, again, not to warrant such a price tag. 2 Turkey sandwiches shouldn’t set you back $ 40 when there are some amazing eats up the street. Protip: Watch out for the random hour they are closed(3−4pm) Bonus: An extra star bc they were very accommodating when we ordered at 10:59pm.

Yes, it’s a little pricey but for a nice, clean environment, yummy food and drinks and consistently great service, I’ll take it! Plus, it’s away from the Old City chaos

The décor was nice and the service was quick. That’s about the only positives of this place. Well, actually, my rum and coke was good but for $ 9 uh, no thanks. Everything was extremely over priced especially considering it was NOT the quality you were paying for. My husband and I were there for our anniversary thinking, because of the trendy name and the location, it would be really nice. Now, my husband is a chef, so maybe our standards are higher then some peoples but a $ 14 flat bread should never have obviously canned tomatoes on it. The hummus«platter» was 2 scoops of hummus that they definitely did not make themselves and a few cold pieces of flat bread. Those 2 appetizers and 1 drink were all we ordered and the bill was $ 40. No way will we ever return to Taste.

The service was great ~ but honestly, two bowls of oatmeal, two berry bowls, a bagel and 3 med size blueberry pancakes along with 4 coffees certainly wasn’t worth $ 86!

Had lunch at taste. It was ok for a quick bite. I had a cheesesteaks and probably by local standards was on the low end but I liked it. The other plates were good looking too. I don’t think you can really go wrong here but you can do better a few blocks away for the price. But hey it’s in a hotel.

Have only been to the bar area but the food and drinks have always been great! A little pricey but worth it once in awhile. The service couldn’t have been better!

Decent breakfast at the Sheraton in Society Hill. If it wasn’t so expensive I would give it a higher rating.

Food was subpar and excessively overpriced. $ 5 for coffee. $ 15 for an unremarkable waffle. Overall $ 50 for 2 people for food you’d get at a diner for $ 30. The only reason to eat here is you absolutely must eat in the hotel(for children etc). There are breakfast options within walking distance but they’re busy unless you go early /late.

had the pleasure of eating here twice in one day, while my bowl of cereal was extremely over priced($ 10 for cinnamon toast crunch) i did enjoy my lunch. the burger was a little pricey, but well worth it. If your staying in the hotel, i would reccomend trying this place out. otherwise there are lots of other options for lunch within walking distance.

The service wasn’t bad but with so many other places around the area for lunch, I was hoping to have better options. I had the chicken noodle soup and the chopped salad. I didn’t expect to get campbell’s chicken noodle soup for $ 7.00 in a pretty bowl. You just know it is that over process thick fake yellow chicken broth. The chopped salad was ok, totally not worth it. I also had breakfast which was a little better and it was nice that they had smoothies as an option.

My husband and I met our friends here for dinner, and we were really looking forward to a great«foodie» menu, nice ambiance and great service. What else would we expect from a restaurant in the society hill sheridan? Turns out our expectations were way too high. Let’s start with the positive. The food was very good. Pulled pork sandwich was very flavorful and the burgers were well made. Nice portion sizes that were displayed artfully on the plate. With that being said the menu was pretty basic. Ambiance was nice too, upscale modern décor with comfortable seating. The service was HORRIBLE! The waiter scribbled our orders on a folded menu, then took 45 mins to bring us our appetizers and 1 hour for our entrees. Waited another 20 minutes for our dessert, then half an hour for our bill. Finished off our night with the waiter refusing to give us a receipt for our bill and just saying«I had to do something weird with your credit card so there is no receipt» 30 mins later and with the managers involvement all was settled with the bill. The food on this menu was good, but there are many better places to go in Philly if you want a well made burger. Incidentally, they also probably won’t charge you an extra $ 300.00 and then claim there is no receipt because they«did something weird»
