I live a short block away from this place so it’s been a god send on a few occasions when I realized I was 100% out of dog food. They don’t carry my dog’s specific food(Wellness Core) but they do carry a lot of equally healthy, nutritious brands that I’m more than happy to feed him. They also sell Merrick’s wet food which seriously looks like people food. If it were a serious emergency and it was the only thing available, I’d eat it. Haha. I usually get my cans here. The employees are nice and friendly but not in your face. There’s a bird by the register(in a cage, I’d freak otherwise!) that’s pretty cool and will talk to you. It’s a small store so there’s not a huge selection of stuff but what is there is cute and usually pretty unique. For example, for Shark Week I got my dog a stuffed shark toy with squeaky eggs stuffed inside the stomach area. Creepy? Maybe. Different? Absolutely!

I love to support independent pet stores. I’ve been there a couple times and everyone is very friendly! The store is very tiny, but very cute. I found my cats favorite toy there! My only suggestion is to find out prices of things before you get to the register. I bought something there one week and 2 weeks later it was more than double the price. I don’t think they have a very good«scanning» system. Bottom line… great store, great people, highly recommend!
