The Dog Dude

We have kenneled our dog with Seuss many times while we were out of the country and he’s kept in touch and we’ve never worried that our pup is being cared for.
He’s also given us and the dog behavioral training as our chihuahua/​pom mix had an aggressive streak that was an issue, and I can report that he’s been a changed dog since and we’re not the only ones who have noticed.
I would and have recommended his services to others, with no complains thus far.

I am shocked by the other review of The Dog Dude. Seuss has walked my dog many times and I plan to board her with him in the future. I’ve met him a few times and have been pleased with his demeanor and connection with the pooch. In all my experience, he’s been trustworthy and kind.

This man deserves NO stars. I was out with my dog for her morning walk and I watched him VERBALLY ABUSE AND BERATE another dog owner. I’m talking repeated F-​bombs. I am all for well behaved/​trained dogs, proper doggy etiquette and all the normal dog owner soap boxes but there is NEVER a reason to cuss out another dog owner if you make your living as «professional» dog walker and trainer. I personally know the dog that he was walking and she is aggressive toward other dogs without provocation because she was attacked and injured by another dog. She remains incredibly sweet to people. Fine, we all have our issues. So if you are a smart dog walker you A) know and use this information B) use training techniques to help her regain the confidence she needs to socialize again C) keep this dog and any around her safe. He chose D) none of the above. In a case like this it is prudent to employ the same idea that all our parents tried to instill in us when we learned to drive– defensive driving. Assume everyone else is a moron who can’t drive and always proceed with caution. Do not try to walk through a dog area where there are always dogs off-​leash and expect that everyone around you is going to be responsible about keeping their non-​aggressive dogs away from yours. This man needs to find another day job. And some quality anger management classes.
