It was my first time here and I will probably never return. The food was not good at all. I paid $ 10 for a medium curry chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage which was a reasonable price by far and the portion of foot that they dish out isn’t skimpy at all, but the food itself… NO! I had to go back in the store to make sure they were actually West Indian people because the food was disgusting. I’m sorry it was not worth my $ 10. I gave two stars because they were nice

I had the medium size jerk chicken platter with rice and beans and cabbage. I thought it was pretty good jerk chicken in comparison to the jerk chicken I’ve had before. From what I could see while picking up my food, the restaurant seemed like a small and cozy type of place. I would return and recommend to others!

I swear the broad street location has the best Jamaican food in all of the tri state. I’m still eating my fried chicken platter at almost 1am, was saving for tomorrow lol

Service is shitty. We have manners in this country. Learn them. They seem to think that they are doing customers a favor, like come on with the crappy attitude. Not impressed at all. I’d Rather Chinese.

They gave me literally 5 oxtails for $ 13 with a medium-sized portion. All rice and tough cabbage and literally 5 oxtails. Jamaica D or Rons give so much more and it taste better. These were soggy when I complained they refused to refund and advised a medium-sized is 5 oxtails no refund. I advised I may need to take my business elsewhere in the future they said so what. Horrible customer service had they of just put a little more food on the plate I would not feel robbed and would have had a positive impression of them. They are ghetto and have that so what kind of attitude. Avoid them…

The service is very nice and the food is very tasty. My fiancé brought me here one evening and the food was so so good. We came back with his daughter and the food tasted good but not as tasty as before. It seemed a little rushed. We were surprised they actually had jerk chicken because they tend to run out. All in all I did fulfill my craving.

This place always had great tasting Jamaican food and great service. My only complaint is that they run out of jerk chicken and mac n cheese sometimes

Very Tasty. Very Tasty Indeed. Just stopped by this place to grab lunch with my coworker after passing it a few times on my way to the post office. I ordered a small jerk chicken platter with rice and greens with a beef patty on the side for $ 10. The greens were very good with just enough seasoning. The rice was tasty as well but certainly needed the sauce on it. The jerk was also very good too. It was a bit more dry then I would have liked so definitely make sure you go heavy on the sauce. The employee working at the counter was very nice and the portion size was great for the price. Overall this was a good experience and I’ll certainly consider this place for takeout again.

The service was horrible, everyone know you greet a customer as soon as you walk in and even after saying«Thank You» and«Have a good night» the older lady said nothing. I ordered a platter they didnt have mac & cheese or any beef patties and were rude in saying they did’nt have them. The younger lady lokoed like she had an attitude. Jaimaicans are so cocky and have a problems with black americans, news flash you don’t have to have a business here! Customer service=horrible

Best jerk chicken I ever had, only co is that the rice was hard and kind of flavorless but overall very clean great spot.

I just want to say thanks the hardworking staff at The Flavor Spot for taking the time to prepare real authentic Jamaican cooking, I had almost everything on the menu and is not disappointed. Jerk chicken is the bomb not to mention the curry goat and the steam fish with okra i can’t wait for my next trip to the Flavor Spot.
