The worst market around. Things in the freezer are burned and seems like dates are being changed on packages.

This is the closet store to my house and that’s really the only reason I come here.
I avoid a lot of the produce and meats if I can, things just never seem that fresh and I’ve come across expired meat a few times.
It’s a hit and miss store, convenient if you live in the area and usually not crowded, but I prefer to go elsewhere when I can.

Considering there’s a Fresh Grocer on 56th & Market & 40th & Chestnut St., I go there.
The Chester Ave store is small but the meat & produce selection is nothing, NOTHING like the other 2 stores.
Go if you have to but the other stores are much better.

It is a small store. I can get to it on the Rt13 trolley. I like the prepriced packages for the lunchmeat, they are apparently at this location only as far as I can tell. I can get most things I need at this store, what I can’t get I can usually find elsewhere.
