The Hub Centers for Meeting and Collaboration – Cira Centre

I came to the Hub for a charity event during the week. The space itself was a little confusing to get to as you have to walk by several offices to get to the actual meeting place, but luckily the foundation staff (not the Hub staff) helped guide me. I can see the potential for using the space as it is conveniently close to 30^th street station. During the event I put down my cell phone next to my plate of food to take some pictures and listen to the speaker. When I came back to the table, the plates were cleared and my cell phone was gone. I did not want to assume any staff member would take the phone. However, when most of the guests had left near the end of the charity event, my phone was located by my computer to be still at the Cira Center. It had been turned on for a minute to be located, and then off. Another attendee also had their phone taken during the course of the evening. However, he was quickly able to use his computer to recover his phone in a back room of the meeting space where he never had been in. I for one would not hold an event here or recommend anyone holding an event here where something like this could happen. Especially during a charity fundraiser.

Need an alternative for meeting spaces? Consider the Hub! I have never had it so easy… From the upgraded surroundings, beautiful views and great food, you can not go wrong. We kicked Off 2014 with an amazing meeting and EVERYONE left raving about this place. Service was perfect and location is perfect for those commuting as it’s attached to 30^th Street Station. Jessica’s and Jennifer were amazing hosts. Avoid hotel meeting spaces as they just can’t replicate what The Hub offers and they are overpriced. Go with those that focus in one thing, meetings!
