The Let Out Philly

The owner has a very nice establishment however is a dick head! He booked me for an event knowing he has not passed inspection with L & I! Needless to say his dumb ass did not pass inspection and I had to cancel my children’s birthday party! Not to mention he let me know THREE days before the party! Why would you book an event knowing your venue has not passed inspection?! Very poor judgment on Odi (the owner) behave! I will never use him for anything. After talking to other ppl one being a friend of his stated he does things of this sort all of the time. I wish I could give half of a damn star! I will post the email he sent to cancel the party. In the email he blamed the failing inspection on a water main break… all lies! I spoke to other business owners on the block (because I waited 30min in the cold fort deposit because he was late) and shockingly he was the only one who had «damage». He’s bad business, it always happens when you try to support minority businesses.

The Let Out is quickly becoming one of the most popular venues to host events. While it is well-​known for it’s party scene, it seems to be evolving toward a more professional & artistic clientele. It’s the venue I would book for birthday parties, networking mixers, concerts, or even a business seminar. With it’s three separate spaces, there seems to be room to serve any purpose.
Also, I’ve had the chance to meet the owner of this venue as well. Definitely a hard-​working young man. I recommend The Let Out for any of your private event needs.
