Whenever I meet my mom for lunch near her office, we go to Three Sisters. The atmosphere is adorable and the paninis are out of this world. My mom swears by the chicken salad, but the smoked turkey and provolone panini with sun-dried tomato pesto gets me every time. Their baked goods are a little pricey, but delicious – the lemon cake was fabulous. It’s a little out of the way but always a treat.

The service can be a bit slow but the quality of the smoked turkey and provolone panini with sun dried tomato pesto more than compensates. They also offer coffee and Le Bus pastries. Charming, dare I say quaint, set-up inside and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking a(sort-of) park.

Chicken salad bliss Corner café you may miss You are Fox Chase gem This place starts with 2 stars for being cute, and clean. Well lit, it’s a nice place to sit outside or in, drink your java in your preferred form of delivery concoction, and do the crossword. I give the next star for friendly service. It is counter set up, but the one girl(may or may not be a «sister») often will come around and insist on waiting on you… rare considering once people get that three feet of wood barrier they don’t like to leave it’s comfort and security! The fourth star is for their chicken salad! I would like to branch out into the rest of the menu, which I believe is prepared off site but fresh by the owners, then put together there. Quiches, soups, pannini’s…In any event, they have a wonderful chicken salad. I believe there is a proper name for this style, but I’ve always called it country club style. There are some grapes, a little tarragon, not overly«wet»…perfect on a croissant. I’ve been in close to a dozen times before writing this and service and quality have remained consistent across the board.
