Note — I reviewed this place first a year ago. But for whatever reason Unilocal decided to add that review onto a Pile of reviews that a bunch of other people compiled for a specific event. What event was that exactly? The Unilocal Sideshow Adventure, and if you missed out on it then you’re probably living under a rock. The Unilocal Sideshow Adventure did happen at Tower Gallery, but my original review was from a year before hand and had nothing to do with the event. So I’m bringing it back up as a B Side for two important reasons. 1)I’m reclaiming the spot on the throne that’s rightfully mine(Missy was the first to review the Sideshow Adventure so give that spot back to her while you’re at it. thanks.) 2) If you were at The incredible Sideshow Adventure that Carrie put together, than that means that you also got a sampling of the awesome artwork that Tower Gallery put’s on their walls(I enjoyed the street sign and road montages). And you especially got a sample of what kind of opening gala their capable of throwing(although all of the others probably won’t be that electric). So you too can drop a review on Tower Gallery. So without further ado here’s what I had to say one year ago — I have never once considered owning a corset(getting one for a significant other is a different story, I’m talking about buying one and mounting it on my wall, at least until Halloween). But then I saw it here a black and green Exorcist themed corset! It even had the face of the possessed girl and a pea green puke trim. not only that but it came with a black suitcase that had the same motif. Then I saw the two heavenly white corsets that had an angelic theme and were connected to a human heart centerpiece. Maybe I will start a corset collection — at least doing so would go to a good cause. when a co-owner of Delicious Corsets found out that one of her friends was diagnosed with breast cancer, she teamed up with some friends and put together the«Corsets For The Cure» display to help. the proceeds that they make go towards The Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation. as for the gallery space it’s pretty interesting. I’ve walked by it hundreds of times and never realized it was a gallery since half of it is The Tower Investment Firm(I think they might be able to help you with investments) and the art is tucked on the side you don’t see. They also have a huge sign for Schmidt’s Beer, one of the few beers that I would never be proud to associate myself with. but the art side is a cool and very worth checking out.
