This review is for the in store pick up service. Loved it, not going to lie when an item I wanted to order for a baby shower I am attending was only available at this location I was kind of dreading going but it was actually very easy. The one thing they could use is more signage on where to go for pick up. I guessed it was near the back somewhere and as a I walked around there was a lady at the register counter so I asked it happened to be directly across from her. Scanned my bar code and in a few minutes an associate came with my stuff check my id and I was on my way out the door. Now if only there was no traffic on Aramingo Ave the night would have been a breeze.

Ugh!!! Not a huge fan of it here bc they don’t carry as much as a full babies r us and the toys r us section is always so so messy. I go here bc it’s right around the block from me and convienient. So, I tried using a buybuy baby coupon here since they say they take competitors coupons. Well this is what they said… «we only accept mall coupons» What the heck does that mean!!! Buy Buy baby is a huge competitor of babies r us! That day, I didn’t purchase the swing and gave business to buy buy baby instead. They need more knowledgable staff or even more staff. Its so hard to get help from someone here. And, always slow. There could be one person in line and you could wait FOREVER!!!

This is a review for Babies R Us. Needs a preemie section, first of all, in addition to more employees and selection. These big box stores need have amazing selection, brilliant employees, and an intuitive designs if they are going to be justified in ruining our waterfront area. With the advent of the Internet, this store, as well as many big box stores, has virtually no benefits. It lacks the personality and relational quality of a local place, and doesn’t have the selection, comfort, or convenience of , for example. It’s a wonder how any of these stores stay open when people can get everything they offer online.

Everything about this place is bad, just bad, horrible customer service, nobody seems like they want to help you, everything is always a mess there, i wouldn’t even bother going here if it wasn’t the closest to me

So this is for the Babies R Us and not the Toys R Us section. I rather go to the store located in Deptford since it is strictly for the baby set. However, this location is good in a pinch. If you need the little things(diapers, wipes, feeding supplies etc) I say this place is fine. For the bigger purchases(car seat, furniture, clothes) I would highly recommend skipping this location and going to either Cherry Hill or Deptford. Look out for coupons.. . you can get some pretty good deals. However, their 20% off general coupons I have found to be pretty useless since they are not good on food, diapers, wipes and many other things that a baby will«blow» through quickly. Prices are fairly competitive. Customer service needs some work but is not bad considering the neighborhood.

Even though this Toy R us is on Aramingo Avenue I must say I think its the best one in the City of Philly… Last year when they had that Huge Sale during late evening hours everything was in stock for the most part. You weren’t subject to empty shelves and rude staff. They made sure they were staffed sufficently and they were very courteous. This store trumps the one In S. P or Cedarbrook.

They usually keep their items stocked even during peak times and events. Remember the snow storms of 2010? They managed to keep up with those cheap plastic sleds for the kids which had me impressed! Walmart & Kmart sold out on day 1. They kept their parking lot free of snow, too, during that blizzard.
