Renovated interior and the food was great. Bacon was crisp and toast was fresh. The waitresses were nice and quick to refill my coffee. I recommend the french fries — crispiest fries I’ve ever had.

Don’t bother going here. Chicken was way over-done and the coleslaw tasted spoiled. Waitresses too busy on their cell phones to look up.

The food here is ok… but the customer service is horrible. If you don’t order when the waitress hands you the menu then you’ll be waiting forever for her to come back! The last time I was here I ordered coffee, when it came to the table it looked like tea. I mentioned it to my waitress and she told the manager who refused to make more coffee because she just made the batch that was served to me. When I say this coffee was weak, I could see the bottom of my cup. Plus it had grains of coffee floating inside. Horrible. I had to go to another establishment just for coffee. If I wasn’t hungry I would have left without eating.

I ordered Steak, eggs, cheese grits and wheat toast. The steak was ok but I wasn’t feeling the grits at all. My toast had a load of butter on it, it was nasty. Service was pretty good. I’ll be going back

The two stars aRe for the food, I didn’t even realize that the girls that worked there actually worked there! The lady that took my order was really nice tho but the other staff has it made they sat & talked, cursed a lil bit, and ignored the boss as she gave them orders that they didn’t obey, lol, the kids that work there are unbelievable smh, I suggest u get ur food and leave!

Service is pretty slow at Trio, it seems they don’t have enough staff to handle the incoming crowd. We went for breakfast and weren’t in a hurry. The food was good and portions were generous. Steve noticed his eggs tasted like if they were cooked along side green peppers. Trio has some potential if they could just step it up a little bit.

I hate to give this place a bad review because the food is pretty good, but i have yet to sit down in this place and not have the staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Now, I myself have only ordered breakfast here(strawberry french toast, bacon, eggs = delicious), but my boyfriend has ordered lunch(some kind of wrap) and also enjoyed it. On each occasion there has been some kind of crisis where, supposedly, more than one staff member has not shown up for work. Causing them to be shorthanded, and their customers annoyed. I can understand that things happen, and that they’re only human, but sittin at the counter starring at them for 20 mins and not even being offered a menu is a little ridiculous. When my party and I finally stood up to leave, and grab a bagel somewhere else, one of the cooks ran over with menus and took our orders. We each enjoyed our meals and were glad we stayed, but I’m not so sure it was worth the wait. Well… maybe…

This place used to be awesome. Best french toast, best omelets, waffles kinda suck, but pretty darn good. Then a few years go by and the quality of food slips. Drastically slips. Dear god what the frick happened slips. Oh well. New breakfast place is Mike’s at Front and Godfery.
