I order their wings all the time because they are simply the best wings in the whole city of Philadelphia. They are seasoned and crispy with the sauce served on the side because WHO WANTS SOGGY BUFFALO WINGS? No one. It’s gross and Uncle Tomy’s is the only establishment that gets it right. I’m addicted to them and order them at least once a week. Their chicken salad and cutlet sandwiches are delicious too. Fast delivery and completely reasonable prices. Uncle Tomy’s is the jam!

I was working around the corner and figured I’d give this place a try. I ordered a cheesesteak that was awesome perfectly cooked. I came back the next day since the food and the service was so good and was a little bit bitter. I ordered two slices of pizza. They came out of the oven hot but tasted stale with a weird after taste. They were definitely sitting out too long. It’s worth it to stop here I just wished they had better slices.

Uncle tomy’s…what can I say, it’s pretty much the only option we have in the Grey’s ferry area. They are very high in price. The food is really hit or miss. The Sicilian pizza taste as though it was pre made and they just tossed toppings on it.

This place is falling apart. I have an issue every order. I try to support them because I grew up ordering from them but there is to much competition now to have to deal with inconsistency. Chuck please get your staff in order.

I used to LOVE their Stromboli. I liked the crust a lot– it was kind of salty and not too much bread at the ends. Fresh, tasty fillings, etc.
SO I thought I’d order the pizza.
We got a large with mushrooms and onions for delivery.
It was so bad that we couldn’t finish it and I gave the leftovers to a friend.
It was room temperature when delivered, first of all.
The crust was chewy in a bad way with no bite– doughy.
The cheese was cheap and it seems like they dumped uncooked onions on top with some canned mushrooms. Like they made a crappy cheese pizza and just dumped some stuff on top.
I’ll never order there again.

Seriously. Do not order take out from here. I ordered a large pizza and boneless buffalo wings with extra hot sauce (an option they provide) and ended up with a very cold pizza and chicken fingers with maaaaybe a teaspoon of hot sauce sprinkled over 5 for $ 40. My friends and I were very very disappointed to say the least.

This place is so tasty we actually ordered twice in the same week, two nights in a row.
Their chicken nuggets/​tenders are all homemade fresh, which was a great surprise!
So often «homemade» means «re-​heated,» but not here!
Their stuffed meatloaf entrée and fried chicken entrée made us miss our mothers, the food was so tasty and fresh. The sides – we had mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and greens – were freshly made, not too greasy, and well seasoned.
Their cheesesteak was substantial and tasty; their chicken cutlet sandwich was enormous and well-​seasoned and fresh.

We ordered a sausage and pineapple Sicilian for delivery. Pizza was very tasty and I usually don’t like sausage but I let the bf pick the pizza. It was a busy Friday night and they still delivered in the amount of time promised. And they take credit card.

We ordered a chef salad for moi, a grilled chicken cesar salad for the Mr., and an order of chicken fingers with bbq sauce that we split.
The chef salad was awesome! It really had a nice balance of all the components. Sometimes, you’ll get a salad from a pizza place and it’s mostly lettuce. Not here and the salads are big, portion wise. The only downer was that the hard boiled eggs were cold, while everything else was closer to room temp. They also use packaged dressing. The Mr. loved his salad as well. He wishes they had cesar dressing, however. The chicken fingers SUCKED! They were very dry yet didn’t have any crisp. Then, the meat was chewy in places and tough in others. The bbq sauce was ok, but a little bland for my liking. Ordering was a breeze with Grub Hub and it arrived before our estimated time. So, a good experience overall and we will likely order from them again.
Update: Picked up an order of The Original Tomy’s Fries today. Heaven! Lots of cheesey and bacony goodness. The fries weren’t overly greasy or cold. The portion is big and you could easily feed 2 people with the large size. You might not want to share, though!
Update 2: I’m dropping a star from my review. I ordered a cheese and sauce stromboli yesterday. Given the name, you would think there would be sauce right? WRONG! There wasn’t a drop of sauce. You have to order sauce on the side, for an extra cost of course. Why on earth would you name it a cheese and sauce stromboli, when the sauce costs extra? That is incredibly deceptive to customers, and shady to boot. I will definitely think twice before ordering from here again.

I ordered the prosciutto caprese pizza. It was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Pale frozen dough, bad prosciutto, poor and flavorless «fresh mozarella», burnt basil, and garlic salt everywhere. Really offensive food. I don’t know how this place gets enough money for a commercial. I hope this place closes and bad things happen to everyone who works there. Unacceptable.

I love this place!!! Everything I ordered from there was great, especially the Mushroom Bacon Bleu Burger. Their pizza, wings, and soups are also amazing. This pizzeria deserves all the stars in the sky :)

Awesome staff and a turkey hoagie so delicious my mom decided we should go back the next day and get more. lol
