Alright. I love Mazzoni Center and I love that you can immediately get your script sent over to the attached Walgreens after an appointment with them. BUT. Every damn time I call them and ask them to send over a script to my CVS close to my house when I need something refilled: 1. They say that they are sending it over right then and there (I always call a few hours before I know I am going to my CVS) 2. When I get there I always find out that they haven’t even made an attempt to call it over yet!!! side note: I always have to give them the number too, even though I know they have it on file. They ask me to have CVS call them instead of just sending it over. I have to literally call them 3 times before they will actually do what they say they were doing 3 hours prior. WTF! Twice now I have had to leave from picking up my script because it took so fucking long for Walgreen’s to send it over, that I was late for work. GUESSWHATGUYS: PEOPLEHAVESHITTODO. A small, pharmacy only, Walgreens location, stuck in the middle of the block. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they take my prescriptions and go out of their way to make sure it’s an easy non-irritating experience. They have a small amount of things to buy, like lotions, ointments, junk food, Advil… but in no way do they have the regular stock of a normal Walgreens. However considering that most chain pharmacies are full of bitter, harried underpaid staff, this is a pleasant surprise.
