Went here to get some items that I can’t seem to find any place else and to my disappointment drove all the way there for find out they have been out of stock for weeks, i asked the manager she didn’t even know they were oit and told me to come back next week. Right and whos schedule do she think im on?

Check your receipts. I have shopped here numerous times without checking my receipt until an out of town friend shopped here and found that his bill was padded. Within the same week my Mom shopped here and her bill was once again padded. Shop at your own risk! They have lost me as a customer and I will continue to spread the word about their awful business practice.

Walnut Supermarket is my go-​to store for Caribbean ingredients and products. Looking for shado beni? they have it. ground provisions? got it. salted and smoked fish of all sorts? bingo! 1001 seasonings, sauces, and spice mixes, cases of Ting, porridge, baked goods, a whole aisle of teas, and even Golden Ray butter. When i get the urge to make West Indian food, i always swing out to West Philly to stock up at Walnut Supermarket, and you should too!
