So, this is more a local spot and less a student spot, but there’s definitely room for the both of us! I’m not a huge fast food fan but this is a good option in a pinch(like, I’m too cold to wander around windy Broad street and decide what else I would rather eat, so there’s a Wendy’s). Its quick to grab something because its already made but not as quick as you think because it doesn’t seem to be run super efficiently.

Rid temple of these crappy chains! McDonald’s and Wendy’s have no place here anymore and it’s time for them to go. This Wendy’s smells awful and is frequently riddled with trash. This would be SO much better as a Wawa.

I love Wendy’s so thats where the two stars come from but the service here is awful, they do their best to give you the coldest and oldest food and the people working basically roll their eyes at your for ordering. Good luck getting hot food –I have a couple times.

This goes to the owners of this Wendy’s location. Your service is absolutely abhorrent to a legendary status point! This means that it is common knowledge to every and the surrounding neighborhood who has ever been to this location that you need to carve out 30 minutes of your time from entering to exit to get what should be less than 5 minutes of service time needed for a meal to go. Anyone who even talks about going to this restaurant is given a warning in advance not to go, but Id thought Id give you the benefit of the doubt a few days ago, but I failed to heed that warning. First i enter and wait in a line with 5 people ahead of me and 3 cashiers so i figure this shouldn’t take long until I notice that there are 5 people waiting on the end of the counter for their order, all with disgusted looks on their faces. after about a 5 minute wait, I hand the cashier a coupon for a free Baconator. She asks me «Well which one do you want?» referring to the choice of sandwich on the coupon. I say«Oh. Im sorry, the Baconator» She then replies«Oh well, you gotta tell me then, because I don’t know!» After i complete my order, she walks away before giving me the total and completes 2 other orders, and then returns to ask me again what did I order? What? So I repeat the order and she cuts me off in mid sentence with the total! I then wait another 5 minutes to get my food and when I get it, The fries are cold, the nuggets are cold and the sandwich is NOT what I ordered, so I take the entire tray back up to the line and tell them I need the correct sandwich and everything to be hot! Mean while the fry station employee is told about the cold items and says loud enough for anyone on the front line to hear. «Man, Shit! They betta take it like it come out cause I aint standing over this fryer, reheating shit all day long!» Well since I like my «Shit» hot, I waited 5 more minutes for my food and the right sandwich. The managers don’t give a damn. The employees dont give a damn. Nobody in this store gives a damn, But please do not think because you are on temple campus that you are immune to financial failure, because with the horrendous service you give out, sooner, than later you will be gone unless you change!

Out of all the corporate fast food joints, Wendy’s holds a special place in my heart. Nothing like ubiquitous and reliable-tasting chili, baked potatoes, frosties, spicy chicken sandwiches, and junior bacon cheeseburgers. As one of the closest and most accessible big chain fast food joints around Temple’s main campus, how does it rack up? Pretty typical. The quality of the food is standard; tastes just like any other Wendy’s location. Never had a problem with them getting my order wrong, which is always a plus. I’d rather get takeout, as it’s not particularly clean here. The service isn’t as fast as you might expect of «fast food.» They tend to get backed up when there are a lot of people. Beware of ordering items later in the day, because they might run out(e.g., chili, salads).

The food is just as good as any other Wendy’s, but the service is HORRIBLE. The employees are rude, and take forever to get your order ready. The line is always long, and it’ll always take a while for your turn to come up. I think this is the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to.

When it comes to Wendys, I’m not usually looking for great service, but this place doesn’t even try. Every single time I’ve gone here(and I try not to go as much I can) I’ve had a rude cashier who seems somehow bothered by my order, and the employees behind the counter are always screaming at each other in a way that makes customers feel uncomfortable. This Wendys also stretches the definition for«fast food» because it always takes an extremely long time for the food to come out, even when the place isn’t packed with college students. I’ve stood by the counter for fifteen minutes only to have someone finally notice me and ask to be reminded of my order again. I guess I should also note, although I’m not sure if this relates to all Wendys locations, but the food here always me feel sick a few minutes after eating it. Could just be a fast food thing, but I notice it here more than anywhere else. I don’t want to think of the implications behind that in regards to kitchen cleanliness.

This has got to be the worst Wendy’s ever. I don’t know what they were thinking when they built it, but its very small for a campus location. They usually only have one cashier and one sandwich maker. This makes the lines very long and the wait even longer. Even if there are only, say, 5 people in front of you, you can expect to wait at least 15 minutes until you get your food. Its just so painful watching the staff move so slow and watching the sandwich guy taking minutes for each burger.
