I started going to the Zara Brow Bars in the Gallery about 8 months ago, after having a great experience with threading while visiting a girlfriend in Baltimore. Wax breaks me out, and does not clean up the shorter hairs, plus my hair grows very fast, so I needed to be waxed every 10 days or so, which means my skin was a perpetual WRECK. The ladies did a fantastic job each and every time. While not as painless as they like to advertise, it is less painful than waxing, and much more thorough. As I have very dark hair, and very light skin, it is quite easy to tell if they are well done. The only complaint I have is… now, instead of a middle Eastern woman waiting for me at a kiosk, there is a sign(at both locations) stating that they are open in Plymouth Meeting and Cherry Hill. I’m devastated at having to find another location downtown. I went for waxing in desperation last week when I saw that they were gone, and sure enough, my skin is a complete mess.

Finally decided to try this threading place and I’m so glad that I did. The women who run the place are super sweet. It was my first time getting«threaded» and Nisha helped me through the whole process. I work nearby and always have thought about trying to get my eyebrows threaded. My experience here has completely changed my mind and I will never wax again. Not only is threading less painful and a super fast process, but it is completely natural so you have less to worry about if you have sensitive skin. If you are looking for this place, it is a cart in the corridor leading from the 8th and Market Subway stop and PATCO station to The Gallery.
