Went here on New Years Eve with a few friends. Place was ultra quiet(kind of surprising for a bar on New Years Eve) but the staff was very friendly. Ordering was a tad of an adventure as they were missing some menu items but the food we did get was good and prompt. Food was basic fare(Turkey Club, burgers, etc …) and while the menu is fairly large, there’s nothing you haven’t seen at a bunch of other places. The dining area is separated by the bar(good) and is fairly easy on the eyes in a road house style theme. Pricing is on par for the area. All in all it was a pleasant place but the kind of place I would forget minutes after leaving. My friends rave about the regular nights there however.

Awful service. .awful food… I really wanted to like it, so disappointed. Awful management. Don’t sit tables if you’re going to ask them to move for the band… sit them elsewhere so they can finish dinner !!!

I feel like if you are a local coming into this location you are on an episode of Cheers where«everybody knows your name.» I’ve never come to the Brass Rail for a sit down dinner but I have been plenty of times for appetizers and drinks. The bar tending staff is friendly and quick to assist when needing refills. Sometimes there is a decent wait but depending on the night and what local band is playing the place gets PACKED so that’s understandable. Food is decent, nothing to brag about but when you are drinking and want something to munch on it does the job. The parking can be a nightmare when they have a packed house. Most of the time I skip looking for a spot in the lot or side street and park in the medical building parking lot(after hours of course.) I’d recommend Brass Rail to new residents and locals!

Great place. Went with a group of 9. Everyone left happy. Very kid friendly and all the staff worked together. I hate when I go somewhere and the staff turns their back on you if they are not your server.

Good food is fantastic. The full service bar is complete. However, the parking can be a pain in the ass. It can get packed at any given time. Come early and enjoy!

Only popped in for a quick beer with my 2 bros over the holidays, and it was ok. Not a whole lot of choices, but at least it wasn’t all light beer. Bar has a strange upper level seating area where you actually look down on those on the other side. I hate it when people look down at me. In theaters I like to sit in the last row so I can look down at everyone else. I was always the tallest kid in grade school, which sometimes wasn’t the best thing, but no one could look down at me. Except that mean old short lady down the street… she always looked down at me. I digress. Next time maybe we’ll grab some grub too.

Really enjoy this local bar. Great atmosphere, not too crazy busy, good food, prices are reasonable. Beats chain restaurants in area for sure. Support local businesses!

Stopped here for lunch and a beer while the while the lady and I were shopping on Black Friday. Place was relatively quiet at noon. There were 4 other customers. Ordered the«broiler» sandwich and a plate of nachos to share. Both were excellent for the pub food category. Bartender was great attentive and friendly.

Fantastic! Will be dining here again especially on the night they offer Prime Rib. Cocktails are generous and have a great wine list. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

Anyone who likes the food here has never had a quality meal. Simply put, the food is not fresh. Ordered the nachos and the chips were stale. They were served with jarred sauce and were awful. We saw food preparers walking in a delivery of pre-grilled and bagged chicken, Frozen pre-cooked bacon, and all types of canned prepared food. I’m willing to bet none of the sauces, dressings, or broths are homemade. That came through in the food. Prices are cheap, but who cares when the food is gross.

Stopped in here for my St Patty’s outing, decent sized lunch crowd, place is very comfortable, plenty of televisions to watch sports. Ordered a pint of yuengling on tap was excellent, also ordered a cheddar angus burger which was cooked to perfection. Service was prompt and on point considering it was fairly busy. Will definitely try dinner here next time.

Though it looks unimpressive from the outside, we quite enjoyed this place. Typical bar/pub food, but everything was nicely seasoned and thoughtfully prepared. Service is very solid too. They even let me keep my Pint Glass after complimenting them on it!

Good luck getting a seat if you’re not a local. They told us on the phone that no reservations are accepted, yet all the open tables were being held for other parties. Whatever. After waiting an hour, watching other parties get seated before us, we left.

Great place to go hang, eat, drink and run into friends. They have bands a lot of the time and some good crowds. Reasonable prices as well.

Casual atmosphere. Great Angus burgers and fries. Many different cheese options for your burger, which pleased me :) You can’t get that everywhere. Great French onion soup. Friendly staff. Very spicy(I think it was called) Sweet and Smoky grilled chicken salad, Was loaded with Jalapenos, salsa and a dollop of sour cream. Ask for Jalapenos on the side if you aren’t into heat. If you like spicy as much as I do, you will be pleased.

Ordered take out from here not too long ago. Had a buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was delicious and the amount of blue cheese in the wrap was perfect. It was also served with potato wedges instead of fries. Also very good as well. I’m definitely going to have to get lunch here again.
