I said no cheese on my food, and they put cheese. But only on my beans so I ate the rest of my food and it was pretty damn good. Kind of on the greasy side but good.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Corvallis, OR
Is this the best Mexican food I’ve ever had? No. Is it good enough that it should be popping up on Unilocal for people looking for Mexican food in the Corvallis area. YESSS!!! If you are looking for Taco Bell… this is not your place. If you are looking for T.G. Mexicalis Fun and Grub with huge margaritas, waitresses in tight shirts, lots of American cheese and sour cream,… this is also not your place. If you want AUTHENTIC Jalisco cooking(the best Mexican cooking there is, in my book), you will find it here. Simple $ 1.50 pastor, asada, tongue, and carnitas tacos that are amazing. The pastor, in particular, are excellent. Seriously, buy five of those bad boys for $ 7.50 and tell me you were disappointed. Pozole and menudo on weekends? You got it. Also, this is not«strictly autentica». They have deep-fried burritos that seem to be a hit with the kids. You can feed your fussy eaters here, no sweat. The owners are very friendly, and eager to please. THEBAD: –It shares a building with a Shell station! Your soundtrack will be a mix of Mexican radio and folks buying Slim Jims and the latest issue of Boar Hunter Monthly at the other counter. Looks like there is a pizza place here, too, but they never seem to be open? However, the seating area is clean and mostly comfortable. Honestly, the atmosphere doesn’t bother me at all and is conquered by the food. Some people though may not feel comfortable here. –The beans and rice are not what they should be, and keep me from giving a higher rating. Oh, well, skip them and save your money and stomach space for the pastor tacos!
