Best«table-to-farm» restaurant ever! Gathering Together Farm(GTF) only serves what is in season and, for the most part, all the produce comes from the farm itself. And you’re sitting in the middle of it! Chef changes the menu weekly and posts his offerings on his blog — sign up on the website. Pizza is to DIEFOR. They have a wood-burning pizza oven right inside the restaurant. Usually they offer six different varieties daily. Note that you MUST call ahead of time for dinner. MUST!!! Or you WILL be turned away. You can call ahead for lunch as well, but it is a NECESSITY for dinner. There are only a few tables and they fill up fast. Wait staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Farm stand is on site so that you can purchase your own baked goods and produce. Note that they are closed from mid-November until mid-March. By the way, did you notice that I suggest you CALLAHEAD for dinner reservations?

Such a tremendous experience! My parents came to town and I wanted to take them someplace special. We had wanted to go to Gathering Together Farm(GTF) for ever, but had never been able to make it work out with our schedule. Turns out this was the last week of the restaurant season, and so I called first thing on Veteran’s Day to see about getting a table. Well, turns out that a party of 8 is hard to accommodate on their reservation list(they were booked solid), but the lady on the phone said I could try to sit inside where they don’t take reservations(I guess on their enclosed patio/sunroom/deck all tables are by reservation only, but not the café-type tables inside the farm stand). We figured we’d give it a shot. We arrived at noon and the place was slammed. No tables inside or on the patio/sunroom/deck thing. We asked one of the workers if there was any way we could get in for lunch, and she said she’d put us on the waiting list and see if they could make it work. We waited about a half an hour and sure enough, they found room for us in the farm stand seating area!(I just want to say that the employees were super friendly the whole time as they tried to accommodate our large group with no reservation!) Now, on to the food! Our party had a variety of dishes, from fresh salad and tomato soup to butternut squash ravioli in a cream sauce to pork pâté to ginger chicken with polenta and kale to a couple of wood-fired pizzas with ham and cauliflower and mozzarella. All of the food was delicious, all of it was reasonably priced, and all of it was sourced as locally as possible. And then — dessert! I had been advised by Chris Hansen from Mosaic Farms(shameless plug: go see his non-GMO livestock feed and/or his pastured pork at ) to try the chocolate tort. He said it was to die for. Well, when time came for dessert, I asked our server if they had this famous chocolate tort that Chris Hansen from Mosaic had recommended. The server went and asked Chef JC, and voila, we had a beautiful, decadent tort brought out and it was fantabulousamazingdeliciousyummy! All in all, I can’t rave enough about our experience eating at GTF. I am sad that the season is ending, but I will certainly look for more opportunities in the future to eat here — and I suggest that you do too!

Usually I think it’s suspicious when there’s so many 5 star reviews and am subsequently disappointed. Not here. This place is awesome. Best dining out experience I’ve had this year. My fiancé and I went with my sister and her husband on Friday night. We ordered several appetizers and and entrée each and we shared everything. The quail –outstanding The flat iron steak– incredible The pork chop– delicious The bacon-corn pizza– damn good The duck rilletes– so good The duck liver mousse– as good as it sounds The pork pâté– salty savory goodness The Lemon Curd Cake– I kill a man with my bare hands to get it again

My wife and I stopped here on our way to the coast for lunch. It sounded unique and did not disappoint. This place is truly right on a farm. There are nothing but fields all around it. We arrived around lunchtime on a very warm day and the place was packed. Instead of making us stand around forever, the hostess took down my cell phone number and invited us to walk around the property. It was fun, they had chickens and horses and a nice grassy area with a gazebo, and plenty of things to look at. Before long my phone rang and we were able to be seated. The«dining room» is like a giant outdoor porch, and was a very comfortable and relaxing setting. The food was good and fresh, just like I expected, and the staff took good care of everyone, which was impressive considering how busy they were. Definitely this was a fun, unique experience that made our fun day that much more special.

Gathering Together has been a cornerstone of my family’s time in Corvallis — almost every weekend, they’d head to the Farm for Brunch and Lunch and would always come back stuffed. Whenever I’m in town, it’s become tradition for us to at least spend one — if not two — meals there; and for excellent reasons. Everything you’re eating — from the salads to breakfast pancakes to the lamb stuffed peppers — everything is grown from Gathering Together’s Farm — and goes right into your belly! I highly recommend this place for anyone stopping by the area.

I WANNAGIVETHISPLACE5STARS! It’s the best darn eating experience I’ve had ANYWHERE in a long time. Five stars to; lovely lovely location. Fresh fresh fresh farm-to-table food. Adorable, cool, relaxed ambiance. Excellent service. Everything we locked lips with was fresh and delicious. This place is pretty much reservations only(to the whiner who has to drive 1 ½ hours to get to this place — we drove 9 hours — um; plan ahead). That said, one of the three reasons I can’t give this awesome restaurant 5 stars is its reservation policy. Currently open for dinner on Thursday/Friday only and Tuesday through Friday for lunch, the only other weekly meal offered(and it most certainly is the right and prerogative of the restaurant to do whatever they please and their business decisions aren’t part of this review) is Saturday brunch. We were so delighted with the lunch we had at this restaurant(paltry wine list aside), we very much wanted to bring my 92 year old mother to brunch on Saturday but were told it is the ONE day reservations aren’t taken!(Why?) We were told brunch/breakfast started at 9:00 and that it is such mayhem that we’d best forget it and come later. Lots wrong with this(other than the kindly transparency). Take reservations, or don’t. Be consistent. Foundation rule for successful business. We were delighted with our delicious meal nonetheless and sorry Mom couldn’t join us on Saturday, so delighted that we wanted to try some desserts. Whoops. Another miss. We were told to go «look in the case». No dessert menu. So I shlepped in and had a look at, essentially, pastries. Hubby and I would have happily sat there and ordered a few dessert, and coffee, snapped pics of them and told the world the good news of our find. Alas, not meant to be. Still, we left, happy, satisfied, in love with this restaurant. The parking lot faces a fabulous garden and a garden monolith thingy of sorts(plants growing out of possibly compost). We garden and were admiring this until we realized the plot of land this was on was covered in dog poo. Dogs, roaming freely(and we
