Aaron is a creative and hard-​working photographer. He takes extremely unqiue photos that captures moments that you would not see otherwise. Aaron sees an opportunity for a photo where most photographers would not and it shows in his work. We hired him for our backyard wedding and we could not be happier with the results. More importantly, he is an amazing person and he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

What everyone else said! Aaron is a dream, professional, fun, hard-​working, a great communicator, open to ideas but has a lot of great ideas of his own. I hired Aaron to shoot my brother’s wedding in October. He produced stunning images and was excellent to work with. Everyone loved him — he was great with the families and wedding party. Some of the groomsmen were even joking around with him and calling him A-​A-​Ron by the time of the reception. The pictures he got of my brother and his new wife are beyond expectation GORGEOUS and are something my family will always treasure. I highly recommend him!!!

Aaron is the best. He’s got a great eye and he’s really a fun, down-​to-​earth guy. He took my head shots, since I needed to look more professional as a filmmaker, and they came out great. All my profiles pictures, across all social media, are now shots he took.

We hired Aaron to photograph our DEMO DAY event for SEED SPOT. We are an incubator for social entrepreneurs, and our event is the largest entrepreneurial event in Arizona with between 600 and 1,000 guests in attendance. There are over 15 presenters, tons of different areas to photograph and a lot going on. I can’t imagine anyone capturing the event better than Aaron did!
I gave him a list of shots that I really needed for our social media content and he executed the plan beautifully. He was so fun to work with, asked questions when he was confused and was an absolute joy to have around on such a stressful day.

Aaron is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were in search of a wedding photographer that would capture our personal style candidly, but that was also reliable and creative. With Aaron we found more then that. Not only did he take the time prior to the wedding to get familiar with the venues photo opportunities, he also used different lenses and tricks of the trade that gave us the artistic look we were looking for! I would highly recommend Aaron for any special event. you will not be disappointed.

A photographer friend of mine recommended Aaron to me when I was looking (last minute, of course) for someone who would be willing to take a picture of my immediate family in the few days between Christmas and New Years 2014, as that was the only time that everyone would be all together, as a Christmas gift for my parents. As you can imagine, most photogs take their well-​deserved vacations during that time. Aaron graciously made himself available to us a couple days after Christmas.
We met him at the Scottsdale Civic Center park, where it was cold and crowded! Aaron stayed much longer than our allotted time with him, attempting to remember our names (10 of us!) making us feel comfortable, and ensuring that we got the group shots that we wanted. He took fantastic photos of us (each family/​couple along with the entire group) and I appreciated his ability to listen to what we wanted as well as to know when to take creative control. Our photos are such a wonderful memory that we all treasure! I’ve been impressed as I’ve followed his Facebook posts since, and he has continued to improve his skills since our shoot with him.
We had such a fantastic time with Aaron, that we will be working with him again to capture our family photos for our Christmas card this year. We are looking forward to it!

Aaron took our engagement session when he visited San Francisco, and it was such a memorable experience for us. I think everyone has different favored photo styles and looking for the perfect photographer for yourself can sometimes be difficult. To me, finding the perfect photographer means finding someone that has excellent photography skills, understands what you are looking for and can execute it at the shooting, and does the touch up in the styles you prefer. I love Aaron’s style because it’s natural, warming, yet very dreamy. During our sessions, Aaron was able to quickly adapt to the new environment (he is not from Cal and he is new to Big Sur) and find the perfect spots to pose us and shoot. New locations can sometimes be overwhelming and photographer might not be able to improvise well. The day we did our engagement was so hot and the sun was too bright, yet Aaron was able to manage the lighting and had us shoot comfortably. We walked down a short trail to the cliff and got some super nice pictures there with the sunset and panorama coastline in the back. We were very happy when we saw our photos and could not appreciate more for the nice job Aaron has done. Katie was assisting our shooting that day and she was being so helpful by holding up the white board and make sure we left nothing behind.
I highly recommend Aaron. Aaron is someone you can trust and every comfortable to work with. He pays attention to details, have all the gears he feels like he would need (I lose count how many times he quickly changed lens during the shoot), and he even scouted locations before the actual shooting on that day. The experience we had was awesome, lots of laughing and sweet moments. The pictures Aaron took for us are very impressive. The two adding together makes Aaron a fantastic photographer among all others.

I found Aaron on Facebook and so glad we took the chance on his services. Aaron shot my engagement photos in June and completely captured my vision. He also put my fiancé and I at ease during the shoot as he is so relaxed and personable yet so professional. We endured sweltering heat and a haboob but he still captured all of our shots!
His webpage to view the proofs was great and easy to use. We received our order very quickly and the prints came out amazing.
We so enjoyed working with Aaron that he will be shooting our reception in February as well!

Aaron took our daughter’s senior photos and they are AMAZING! Aaron was fabulous to work with from the beginning to the end. We will definitely be using him for all of our future life events!

Aaron is a awesome. He just is. He has got a talent for capturing a moment. He is also very professional, a great comminucator, and an all around cool guy I planned my wedding from overseas (which was not the easiest feat). Aaron couldn’t have made things easier. He was very receptive to my needs, he checked in regularly, and made sure we were always on schedule.
When the wedding weekend arrived, he went above and beyond. He was punctual and organized. He was such a pleasure to have around, so friendly and easy going with the wedding party and family. He kept us on track to make sure we got all the photos I had requested and was on the move all through the night getting shots of the little details at our venue and all the fun at our reception.
After the wedding he continued to communicate the progress of our photos. We even got a sneak while we were still on our honeymoon! I could not have been happier with the final product. I was so pleased to see just how well Aaron captured our big day. He really captured the mood and so beautifully. There is so much personality that comes through on our faces and the faces of our friends and family. The photos are more alive than most of the other wedding photography I have seen. Every guest we have had over to our home comments on our wedding album. As I said before, I could not be happier. The overall experience was such a pleasure.

I’ve had the chance to work with for years now and every time it’s been a fantastic experience. From couples photos, to weddings, to gathering with friends, Aaron’s photography is always on point. He does an amazing job at capturing people at their best while maintaining a natural unposed feel. I can’t recommend him enough.

I first met Aaron last year for my engagement photos after doing a lot of research for a «destination» photoshoot as I was in NY at the time and wanted photos from AZ for my wedding day. Aaron was very responsive and timely from his emails, and even arriving to the location before we got there. He’s professional and yet very funny which made what could have been amln awkward photo session, into a fun one for both my then fiancé and I. His turnaround for his photos were perfect as we needed them on a short timeline to have them ready for wedding announcements and other engagement related mementos. The photos came out better than I expected and we’re very pleased with his work, so much so, that my husband and I will be using him again in the very near future for our maternity/​family photoshoot! Aaron, you rock! :)

If you have the chance to work with Aaron to shoot your wedding, engagement, or any other photos, DO IT. My fiancé and I were so so lucky to have had the opportunity to have Aaron shoot our engagement photos while he was visiting San Francisco — and the photos are a dream! His ability to make you feel comfortable and natural on camera is uncanny. Being a photographer is not just about having a nice lens and taking a gillion shots so that a few work out — it’s having the eye, and the ability to direct non-​professional subjects. Aaron is amazing at both. Our photos really convey our love and the fun we have. Plus, Aaron is really easy to work with (we last-​minute asked to have our dog participate in the shoot, and he was down).
And one of the most impressive things about Aaron is his attention to detail and thoroughness in preparing for each shoot. Given that Aaron is based in Phoenix, I was just happy to have him shoot in SF locations that we knew about, and he suggested. But he went above and beyond in scouting locations and discovered places off the beaten path that I’ve never even heard of, and I’ve lived in SF for 7 years (and the fiancé for 10!). Really, if you haven’t yet selected a wedding photographer — whether you’re in Phoenix or SF or anywhere — talk to him. His eye and his ability to capture moments and create photographs that feel like you and look amazing, I mean, that’s priceless.

I have had the luxury of having Aaron photograph several major events in my life. He was professional and capable during the shoots, putting everyone at ease and keeping things dynamic.
And the pictures. They truly capture the feelings and emotions of the event. I find myself going back to the photos time and again, and every time I remember exactly how I was feeling and the joy of the day.
Plus, he helps you look good, which never hurts. I’d highly recommend him.

Aaron is fantastic! I’ve had the pleasure of working with him on professional and personal shoots and even shot a quick video for a super fun project with him. He is always so accommodating to my schedule, is flexible on locations and turns around polished, beautiful shots quickly. Aaron has a terrific sense of humor and is a joy to shoot with, and that’s saying a lot for someone who HATES to get my picture taken. I’m typically the type of person who shy’s away from photographs — it’s VERY rare that i like how i look in pictures, and the idea of taking posed photos sounds a bit like water torture to me.
HOWEVER…Aaron was the exception to this rule, and his photos of me and my family hang all over the walls of my house, with my full support.
The entire session that we had with him for photos was filled with laughter and collaboration, he listened to everything that we had to say, and the finished product were much better than anything I could hope for.
My only regret is that we didn’t know Aaron earlier in life, to have him photograph our wedding and capture other happy occasions as beautifully as he captured our family photos.

Aaron Kes is fantastic. I recently had to start looking for a new job and needed some updated business photos for the search. He was recommended to me by a colleague and I decided to give him a shot. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
He was very easy to get a hold of and very quick to set up a time for the shoot. When I arrived, he asked some questions around the type of job that I was looking for and what I was looking to convey so that he could help figure out some unique but professional backgrounds. We went through a number of sets in various settings and poses.
I thought the results were great and the turnaround time for the edited photos was fantastic. I was skeptical that they would be create such a large difference, but had multiple colleagues reach out to me to ask where I had them done as they stand out so well.
I am very happy with the work that he has done and will gladly use him again in the future. I would highly recommend that you use him as well.
