ABC15, KNXV-TV Phoenix

This ABC station is very unprofessional. When they report on a story that includes law enforcement, they refer to them as «COPS.»
With the pressures law enforcement is having to face, I would hope that these news casters would understand their plight by giving them the respect they deserve, by referring to them by the title they worked so hard to get. I wonder what they call the police officers when then they need them to respond to an emergency they might have.
When I hear them using the word «COPS», they sound just like the low life criminals they report on.

I just seen the cardinals count down! The 2 guys sounded like they didn’t know what they were talking about. He based the results off of Cam Newtons cockiness! These guys are jacka**es.

Can’t believe I’m watching a local Phoenix news station that does not provide closed captioning or subtitles. Wake up ABC! Do you not want to include the hearing impaired as viewers? Guess I’ll watch Fox from now on.

Since I don’t have cable/​dish, I rely on antenna reception. Of any channel received, ABC15 has, by far, the weakest and most inappropriate signal. What I mean is — this is 2015 — the age of technology. ABC15 continues to broadcast a weak 720P signal. What is the big deal in regards to updating it?

After watching the news 2 nights ago and watching the segment about the unlicensed daycare, have you even considered the fact that you are soiling this poor girl and her moms name for something they haven’t been charged with? Do you know how unethical it is to stalk someone to their home and twist their words around and give your opinion on people you don’t even know? Obviously you have freedom of the Press but they also have innocent until proven guilty. You have NO idea what happened, or how it happened, your just basing your opinion off of a one sided story. If you read into the police report, the first case is closed and was pronounced SIDS. The second one is being investigated but happened 10 months ago. If she was guilty she would be in prison right now. Your story was a bunch of BS and needs to be taken down, it’s unethical, harassing and distasteful. Shame on you ABC15, i will never be watching your «show» again.

We came to the station to shoot a spot on Sonoran Living. Our first point of contact was Dave Pennington and we felt he represented the station very well. Dave and everyone at ABC 15 were very classy professional people. Dave also gave us a quick tour of the studio which was totally fascinating to me. Needless to say I don’t make it to many TV stations so I appreciated it.

I read about their Operation Santa Claus holiday charity campaign via friends on Unilocal (thanks Jolly!) and called in to make a donation to help those in need. I am always impressed when a media outlet gives up their airtime to support a local charity… kudos to the team @ ABC 15 for putting together this event!

ABC15 has one of the best staff I’ve gotten to work with the past few years. The anchors are always nice and friendly. I recently volunteered with Irene V. for the Operation Santa. A lot of effort from ABC15 for putting on such a great holiday event and for four great non profits which help many in the valley. Smart Shopper is also a great segment to find the best deals in the valley. I usually have ABC15 on in the morning for the news. And when I hear the name «Joe», I always think of «Let Joe Know».

Earlier tonight I volunteered as a telethon phone staffer for ABC15. (I heard about the event via Unilocal Volunteers and our community manager.) In a day where television programming can be filled with noise, ABC15 is an active partner with the community.
The staff at ABC15 is top notch and really put effort into helping where it matters. Operation Santa Claus will make a personal difference to families. This is especially important at the holiday time. Four distinct organizations will be helped. All a result of charitable donations from our many Arizona residents.
This happened because people turned on the boob tube. They turned on ABC15. Not AppleTV, not the Roku, not Netflix. Not tonight.
Thank you ABC15 for being such a wonderful member of the Phoenix area.

I cannot believe you dropped JEOPARDY from your programming. What you have put in its slot is very disappointing. Jeopardy was enjoyed by all ages, not only was it good entertainment but had some educational value as well. Alex T. as host had a wonderful sense of humor. I hope you receive many comments about your dropping this program and can only wish that you might reconsider and put it back in your scheduling. Shirley A
