Above and Beyond Dog Grooming

The first time we brought our dog, a bichon frise to Above and Beyond, they did an okay job except for cutting his ears too short. The next time we brought him was the day before Thanksgiving; and when we picked him up he was unrecognizable. We had told them to leave his ears longer and to cut his body shorter but other than that to give him a traditional bichon cut. I don’t even know what he looks like now but it does not look like our dog. They cut his face way down so that he looks like a lab. When I remarked about where his hair was, and about the cut, they completely ignored me and did not offer to refund my money. They charged a lot of money for grooming and as far as I am concerned-​my six-​year-​old granddaughter could do a better job for nothing. There is no way I could ever go back there again because they simply do not care. They also did not pull his ear hair or cut his nails evenly. They seem to be in it’s only for a buck

I was a regular customer at Above And Beyond since we moved to Anthem almost 3 years ago. We were completely satisfied with them. They were very professional and did an exceptional job on our dogs.
Apparently this place has turned from great to shit
Residents are showing before and after pictures of their pets. Some of the breeds don’t look like they were done by a professional by any means.
Whatever the problem is the ownership better correct it or they’ll be out of business very fast.

This is the second time we have taken our large mixed breed rescue dog to Above and Beyond. They were recommended by neighbors who frequently bring their dogs here. Both times we were very pleased. Our dog was happy to be there and we feel he was treated well by the expert groomers. His cut is perfect. The staff are considerate and friendly. We have found our groomers!

The price was a bit much for their capabilities but the time they took wasn’t too bad if you can kill a few hours. They did cut my dog and not inform me though, I am very angry about this. She had an inch long cut right in her side and I cannot believe that they wouldn’t let me know. I asked how everything went and they lied saying «it was perfect.» Next time you hurt someone’s baby you need to comp them and BE HONEST!

We were traveling and visiting friends and needed to find a grooming place. My friend recommended Above and Beyond. Above and Beyond Pet Grooming in Anthem, Arizona is a great place! They love animals and will care for your pet like he/​she was their own. Family owned and operated and such a beautiful shop! They really strive to make each pet special. Attention to detail is their speciality.

I’ve taken my two dogs to Above and Beyond three times now. After the first visit I wanted to give them a great review but thought I better wait to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. I’m happy to report all three visits have been great. I have experienced exactly zero of the negativity another reviewer mentioned — the staff have been very friendly and accomodating. I think it must be a case of being nice to others if you want them to be nice to you. I’ve tried other groomers in Anthem and have found them to be overpriced and they didn’t do as good a job. My dogs are always happy to go back, which I think shows they like the place too. Prices are reasonable and they always do exactly what I asked for. I’m very glad to have this place right here in Anthem!

I take my dogs on a regular basis to Above and Beyond. I have for several years. I moved from Anthem but I still make a 45 minute drive to bring my dogs here.
I am always impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of this establishment. The way the shop is set up is it’s open so you can always see your pet being groomed nothing is behind closed doors. It’s very reassuring.
Grooming skills are amazing. I request hand scissor finishing, they never charge extra for it. My dogs always look great. They also brush their teeth! For no extra charge!
This place is amazing. I completely trust them with my pets. My dogs and I are grateful to have found this establishment. I won’t go anywhere else.

I been using these guy from the start and my Nigel love them. Nigel is a Miniature Poodle and he often come to them looking more like a sheep than a dog. But in just a couple of hours I bring home a happy poodle again.
I keep there cards in my office for all my clients to see and use.

I just recently made a trip out to Anthem to visit my family. I decided to take my puppy along and he ended up getting into a mess with some chewing gum… lets just say it was not a good thing.
My uncle and aunt recommended Above and Beyond not only were they able to get the gum out… but Jethro came out feeling so soft and smelling great! If only I lived in Arizona…
The place is so cute and the people are so nice!
