We hired Action Painting based on the recommendation of two separate friends who had also previously hired them with very good results. We were not disappointed! The owner Jeff Mullen was easily reachable and available by cell phone before, during and after the project. We were easily able to get convenient appointment times both for the initial review/price quote and the actual job. Mr. Mullen provided a clear instruction packet and all the information we needed in order to obtain our samples and select our paint through Dunn Edwards, with which Action Painting works. Through Mr. Mullen we were also able to obtain free paint samples from Dunn Edwards. The paint crew was professional and thorough. They moved our furniture for us and also did a thorough and excellent job covering and protecting everything during the course of the job. A large living room, kitchen, hall and bath were completed in the course of 1−½ days. The crew was equally diligent and thorough in cleaning up after themselves upon completion of the job(they even tidied up the area before leaving on the first day, when they would be back the following morning). We absolutely will not hesitate to use Action Painting again for our next job.

Worse paint job that I’ve ever had done. Painters were nice, but that is where the good comments end. First, we received a phone call soliciting business, even though we are on the National Do Not Call Registry. As we just happened to be in the process of obtaining paint quotes, we decided to get a quote from this company. The owner came out and provided a quote, and stressed to us that«the job wouldn’t be considered complete until we were satisfied». While the work was underway, we were concerned about the sloppiness of the paint job in many area, so we contacted the owner and requested that he come out to see our concerns first hand. He refused to come out, stating that he was too busy; he told us to work directly with the painters… Upon«completion» they inadvertently took one of my ladders with them; I had to contact the owner to get it returned… Probably the worst thing of all is that during the job, two blank wall plates were to be removed, the drywall patched, and then painted. This was not noticed until the day after my ladder had been returned to me. When I contacted the owner to point this out to him, he stated to me that it would be cheaper for me to contact a drywall person to address(in spite of the fact that the paint crew did plenty of patching in other places throughout the house…) rather than having the painters return. When communicating this to the owner, the discussion turned into an argument. So much for customer service, and even less so much for«the job not considered complete until the customer is satisfied»…

Hired them to paint the inside of my rental property in AZ. Horrible outcome and rushed job. 1st they painted the place the wrong color and had to do it all over again causing a horrible delay. Overspray on windows. Ruined a set of blinds, taped things and left old paint when tape was removed. Were to remove wall paper and paint in one bathroom. They didn’t bother to remove the toilets lid and left old wall paper to see when you pick the top up. You may pay a little more somewhere else but it might be worth it. NOTHAPPY. I have pictures if you’d like to see them.
