Advanced Lock Service

I needed some keys made for work and after trying Home Depot, Ace and another locksmith with no luck I happened to come across Advanced on my way home on a Friday afternoon. I had my keys made swiftly and the staff was friendly and helpful. I left thinking all was good. Unfortunately, one set of keys did not work and I had to return. I called and the awesome lady on a Saturday opened up and had one of her guys come in to make another key to try, even though they are closed on Saturday. Again, this hard to make funny, little key did not work. It was suggested that I wait for Don on Monday. So I waited and Don got my key situation straightened out no problem. Thanks Don. My locksmith go to from now on. Check them out for all lock types, keys and supplies. Go to them or they’ll come to you.

These guys know their keys! I have brought in at least 2 very complicated older car keys, one of which was broken in two pieces! These guys helped me every time. Highly recommend. Very reasonable prices, in my opinion.

I called AAA Arizona when my ignition switch would not turn. I was referred to Advanced Lock Service by AAA as they are an approved service provider by AAA. I was told that it would be about 2 hours before a tech could come to look at my car. Not a big deal because I was home for the evening.
I got a call back a few minutes later and was advised that a tech would be to my house in about 45 minutes. I thought «wow, that’s great». I was then told that I had $ 50.00 coverage with my AAA membership and it would be an additional $ 535.00 to repair my ignition switch. I asked the gentleman how he could know what was wrong with my car without even looking at it. He responded that this was a common problem with this type of car and was a very labor intensive repair. I respectfully declined their service.
The next day, I called another locksmith and paid 60.00 for the repair which consisted of replacing some worn tumblers in the ignition switch. The repair took about 30 minutes.
I think I’m gonna call AAA and tell them about my experience.

I only needed a key made, but it was a special key that most locksmiths didn’t seem to be able to make, and these knocked it right out. The junior rep that answered the door didn’t think it could be done but the more experienced guy walked right in, took over and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes.
They were super nice, took care of me on a Sunday and are actually a real brick and mortar locksmith and not just a traveling show.
I recommend them.
