Ahwatukee Barbers

I have four boys and I usually take them to one of the cheaper places for a haircut but decided to stop here because it was just down the road from our home. We were able to walk in without an appt. and received a haircut with no waiting. The older general man gave my son a great haircut for $ 17. We will be back for sure! Thank you.

Interesting experience. I came in for a hair trim, because I wanted to look sharp for an important business meeting. I usually wait 2 – 3 months between haircuts but this time it had only been about a month. I had been to this shop a couple of times previously and had been quite satisfied. This is the first time with Boris. The haircut seemed fine but I thought it was unusual that it was finished with my head wet. I didn’t say anything because I assume that professionals know their job.
When I got home and washed and blow dried my hair I could see that it was irregular and jagged looking. I returned the next day to try and get it fixed. Boris looked at it and tried to comb it down and suggested that I should apply gel and that there was nothing he could do to fix it.
If I want to go around with hair plastered down by gel, then I really don’t need a skilled barber.
Needless to say I was very dissatisfied. I’ve been getting haircuts for 50 years and never had one turn out that bad and then to be told — sorry nothing I can do just adds insult to injury. Needless to say, I’m not going back there since my experience is that almost ANY other barber can do a better job on my hair.

Boris was great. I’m not too keen on hairstyles or anything like that, so I just asked him do what he wanted, and it came out great. I haven’t felt this good about my hair in a long time.

Mike is a great barber. He does great work and always shows flexibility if I am running late or need a cut at the last minute.

This place was great! From the time I walked in, the barbers (all of them) greeted me! Kerry cut my hair and did a great job. She didn’t take very long. The prices are not bad and the customers seem to have very good rapport with the employees!

So I needed a haircut.
It was late and I was seated at once, and greeted by a very professional perfectionist from Turkey. True American patriot this young man, and a good barber.
Fellow barber was watching TV and shooting loads of politically incorrect loads at the things he saw there — not that it bothers me a bit, but made me react to it.
He took his time, and he did a good job. I left happy with a great haircut. The price was fair for service rendered.

Ugh, Phoenix has got such a dearth of competent barbers. Boris is literally the only one I’ve found. I was on the verge of shaving my head before I met Boris.

I had just moved into the area and saw the reviews for this place. Walked in at around 9:30am and Boris was absolutely amazing. I hadn’t had a cut in a while and wasn’t sure what I wanted but he still figured it out and I’ve been getting compliments all day. I will be returning often!!!

My mother is a hair stylist in California and the only person who I trusted to cut my hair for most of my life. That is until I met Boris at Ahwatukee Barbers. Now, I trust him with my hair more than I trust my own mother. I’m never disappointed by his work. When I was in law enforcement, he always gave me the perfect high and tight. Nowadays, he does an excellent job with more adventurous cuts like the undercut. Haircuts are only fifteen bucks. Don’t forget to tip your barber!

I don’t normally write reviews. just base future patronage on existing ones. I was sold at the «inexpensive» rating, especially considering other barbershops in the area are listed at higher prices. I was a little concerned that this place was no longer open, as the last review was over 2 years ago! Rest assured that it is still indeed open. I arrived at 0745 — 15 minutes before their sign says they open and he was open. I got right in and was given amazing treatment. Best haircut I’ve had in a long time. Straight razor with warm shaving cream on the neck and a hot towel finish. Perfect!

They cut good hair here! Israel knows his stuff. Each barber chair has its own flat screen… catch the game while your getting a haircut. It gets busy, so call ahead of time for an appointment.

This has got to be the best barber shop I’ve ever been to in my 38 years on this planet. I was always getting terrible haircuts at places like Great Clips and Hair Cuttery (when I lived in Virginia Beach), and I just assumed it was because I naturally had jacked-​up hair. After getting my first haircut from Israel (the barber, not the country), I know I’d have a hard time looking elsewhere. I don’t know if these dudes were ever in the military, but their attention to detail is top notch.

Best experience I have had. I’ve spent soc years looking for a barber that not only provided the level of service i needed, but one that had the «barber shop» feel to it. Every time I would find one, the barber would transfer elsewhere, but then I found this one. Walking in after work, Boris took me in and gave me a cut. I wasn’t expecting the hot towel, straight edge, or even to like my cut (been so desensitized by Supercuts), but it’s safe to say that I’ll call this «home» and come for as long as they have an «open» sign.

If you’re looking for a real QUALITY BARBER come here and see my man Boris. He’s a Russian dude with a great personality that will indeed give you a great cut. I’ve been a regular of his for several years now and he always takes care of me, he always goes above and beyond your basic cut… Have him trim your eyebrows (both of them, lol) and your beard if you’re sporting one. Boris is the real deal, he know’s what he’s doing! Call ahead, sometimes he gets busy but he’ll fit you in.

After moving into this neighborhood two years ago I began to use this barber shop. It truly is one of the best ones I have been to. The treatment is top notch and the cuts are great.
