I am really kinda mix on this business. So, your level of service is dependent on the mercy of the owner’s, Jeff, mood for the day when you contact him. He can be professional on his good day, but a total jerk and crude when you catch him on his bad day. We first contacted him to come service our Konica Bizhub 451 to clean it and make sure everything was fine after we moved here from WA state. Everything was fine and he serviced the machine with no problems. He then told us that if we ever needed to move the machine again to contact him. So, when we opened our office, I contacted him to move our machine and asked him what it included. He informed me that it included moving and setting up the machine so that everything was working properly. He contracted another individual to move the copier to our office and damaged our machine. He shrink wrap the copier to move it and when he was done moving it, he cut the shrink wrap which he also cut the cord that connected our document feeder. He then rushed out of our office without testing to make sure everything was working before leaving. That’s because he knew he cut into the wires and didn’t want us to know about it. Worst, the guy just left it on the dolly and refused to get it off to properly set it up. Said that it was not the responsibility of the mover as he just moved it and taking it off the dolly was not part of moving. Is it just me or is that what movers are supposed to do? Move it to where we want it completely not just leaving it on the dolly and taking off. Okay, fine, not going to argue with someone with that kind of mentality. We had to contact Jeff to say it was not working. He then demanded that we would have to pay him to service something he broke!!! Finally, he agreed to come out to fix it. Jeff then came out the next morning to just sauder the wires together and electric tape to the connection. Our machine is now clearly damaged and he threatened that if we disputed the bill he would just charge us more by charging us for the replacement, service order, and all the time he spent saudering the cord together as well. Umm… I don’t think so. If I walked into your store and I broke something, I fully understand that I have to pay for it. You were paid to move a copier and you cut the wires so you need to replace it to it’s original condition before you moved it. You can’t tape things back and say all is good and then threaten us if we file a complaint and dispute our charges. They are a BBB member so honor what it means to be a member of the BBB. With so many competitors out there in the copier world, I would recommend contacting another company that is consistent in their service.
