Aunt Tina’s Pet Spa

I use to be happy with this place until I find out how violence the owner is. I see her yelling at people dog. My dog has to stay there for exactly nine hour. I came back to pick them up two time but she wasn’t even start with my dog. The last time I was there she lock the door so we can’t get in. I told her that my dog been there for over nine hour and she says don’t ever come back. After she told me not to come back she threw her scissor away and slam on the door and went to the back. Three minutes later she got out to yell at me. I told her not to throw stuff around. She grab her drawer and threw them on the floor very violence. I have to call the police cuze I feel like she was gonna hurt me. She threw my dog out of the door and lock the door. It was a very bad experience. I’m writing this cuze I thought people deserve to know the truth about this place.

I love Aunt Tina’s Pet Spa! Our 5 year old Brussels griffon is very skiddish and shy, but Tina is always so kind and patient with her. Plus our furbaby always comes out looking beautiful. :) I highly reccomend Aunt Tina’s Pet Spa as your pet’s groomer!

I found this place by having a coupon. Dropped off my two dogs and they did a great job with their haircuts. It is a bit of a drive for me, but I will use them again. In fact, it’s time for another trim so I will call them now!

Wow! I’m simply blown away. Thank you, thank you Tina!!! I adopted a sweet 7 lb terrier from the shelter today and, despite the effort of the shelter, he needed to be groomed badly. When he was found, his hair was so badly matted, that the shelter sheered everything off, except his face and (oddly) his paws. I went to Flurry Tails on Chandler, explained that he was a newly adopted shelter pup and asked if they would see him. They told me they could not see him until tomorrow and in the meantime I should take him to the backyard and just «hose him off!!!» Stunned, I left. I then did a search on Unilocal and found Aunt Tina’s. I took the pup to Aunt Tina’s and explained to Tina the exact thing I said to Flurry Tails. Tina was in the middle of grooming a dog and said she could see my new pup in 45 minutes… well past her closing time. I came back, she fit in my new pup… and wow! What Tina accomplished was extraordinary! I then went to pay and she said it was her gift to our new pupl Amazing. I am client for life. Thank again Tina!!!

I love aunt Tina’s! They are kind, accommodating and knowledgable! My two chihuahuas love it there! I also love supporting locally owned business especially women businesses! Service is optimum’ value is optimum!

I feel bad posting a negative review… because they are so nice here. I was in town visiting family and brought my Golden Retriever in for a birthday grooming. I explained to Tina that I wanted a ‘summer cut.’ She brought the blades out and used a Sharpie to show me how long the hair would be. I picked the longer one… explaining that the other one was too short. I was shocked to see my dog when I picked him up… with the exception of his head/​tail, he was almost bald. I asked her what happened and she said that she decided to use the shorter blade because the other cut didn’t look smooth. This made no sense to me because I’ve taken him for many summer cuts. I feel that if she was going to make changes to what we agreed on, she should have called me. Once again, I feel bad for leaving a bad review, but my dog looks crazy and he’s got many sores on his body after rubbing on the carpet, etc. There was no hair to protect him. In addition, I will need to keep him out of extended sun due to risk of sunburn.

Purchased a groupon for bath and hair cut– usually take our dog to pet smart just cause it’s all I’ve known and seemed like a good place. Easy to make appointment with gentleman over the phone. Dropped my dog off and they called me when he was ready to be picked.
Dakota was excited to see me when I arrived and he looked great ! Aunt Tina’s spa did very well and appeared to take pride in their work. Will definitely be back for his next next

Dropped off my two senior dogs yesterday and within two hours, they were finished to my satisfaction! Aunt Tina’s did a great job, asking me plenty of questions to understand how I wanted the dogs groomed. The results speak for themselves. Great service at a cost-​effective price! I will bring my dogs back!

When we dropped our dogs off for their haircuts, our 2 year old toddler started crying because she didn’t understand why we were leaving the dogs behind. Tina took a moment to console our daughter. She gave her a stuffed animal and said «I will take good care of your dogs, can you take care of this one?»
Not only did our dogs look get excellent haircuts but I also appreciate the personal touch when dealing with Aunt Tina’s Pet Spa.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. First time I have ever complained on Unilocal!about a company, but this had to be done. On October 4^th, My daughter and I took our puppy Remmy to be groomed here after receiving the offer via Groupon. He had a few knots under his legs and the hair around his eyes was too long, but mostly we just wanted to learn more about dealing with the double-​coat and give him a treat with a good bath! We picked him up about 2.5 hours later and everything seemed fine. We discussed a couple knots she had to trim off and how he tolerated it. We paid her and went on our way.
Two days later, we noticed he was flipping his head around and smelled horrible! After trying to check his ears, we noticed they were extremely red, swollen and had a horrible yeast like smell. After taking him to the vet, we were informed that he had a very bad infection in both ears from matted (unattached) hair that had been shoved into the ear canals, on both sides. He said that it was from a «grooming tool» that they use in the ears and it appears she just didn’t bother to remove the matted hair off of the tool, that had been shoved in the ear canal. There were also multiple cuts and abrasions in the ear canal from the same tool. He had to be given pain medication just for them to be able to remove the impacted hair. He was then given a steroid injection, antibiotics and an ointment. All this totaling $ 210.00. The Vet stated that it could have been easily avoided by not being careless.
We made contact with her and her first response was that she actually had it on camera of her telling us about his ears! Now, I know, since I was THERE, that this conversation NEVER happened and I was appalled that a business owner would stoop to such a practice. There were several emails after, as it was our choice to keep everything via email, that way it is documented. Her responses were very unprofessional, accusatory, and filled with how she was going to have her attorney deal with us. She even stated that we were out of luck because we had signed a paper when we checked him in, releasing her from any liability or harm as a result of her grooming! I know for a fact, that if my dog had bit her while being groomed, I would expect to be liable for the medical services she required.
We made a copy of the invoice and forwarded it to her, asking for payment of the vet bills. We have followed up several times regarding this invoice and she has not responded. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. Mainly, due to the lack of concern over harming an animal. I understand accidents happen. If it had been a scrape from a razor or something, that we were informed happened, I could understand totally, But this was the result of negligence and carelessness, that caused enough trauma to him, that I am sure we will NEVER be able to get him back to a groomer again. Do NOT be fooled by anything this owner says or does.

Excellent ! I took my Bingo here today and Tina is wonderful he came out super cute. What I really like is she is personable and it’s not huge and store like Petsmart. Each dog gets special attention. I will be back again.
