Great place to have some local wine & beer while you wait on your table at the Pizzaria Bianco. Love the ambience & the staff is helpful with wine selection.

What a beautiful turn-of-the-century Bungalo! So glad they saved it from demise! Its a quaint place to have a glass of wine before going to have dinner at Pizzeria Bianco.

A cool bar in a cute little historic house. A nice place to get a drink while you’re waiting to get into Pizzeria Bianco next door, but I would probably go here even if I wasn’t waiting for pizza. They have very limited food options — I think I heard they have a small cheese board, but not much else. But if you want a beer or a glass of wine in a quaint, laid-back atmosphere, this is your place!

Bar Bianco has contributed to some pretty great memories. I have been here to wait to be seated at the pizzeria, it is part of the experience ad I always look forward to it. The bar is cozy and the music is conducive to that experience. It’s a great place for a romantic date or to have a laugh with friends. The bartenders are always extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which when it comes to wine bars is not always the case. Their selection of beer and wine is always on point. I like knowing that every time I go they will have something different to try. Their appetizers are great and the system they have to get you seated next door is incredibly efficient. All you have to do is relax and have fun.

I don’t go here to wait for a table at Pizza Bianco, I go here because I love the atmosphere and beverage selection. The wait staff is super friendly. Charming, but not too in-your-face. It is very small and very quiet– you can fit maybe 8 people at most at the bar top. It’s basically a house. The beer selection– good local selections. Not a ton, but they had the Oak Creek Amber and some random bottle with a Greek forum illustration on it. It was delicious, just can’t remember what it was. What won me over was oddly enough, the rice pudding. Just get it. It’s a treat to come here and I can’t wait to return!

If you are looking for a cool, outdoor bar with things to do close by, look no further. Just blocks from the Saturday Flea Market, this quaint and relaxing bar has great appetizer options as well as a great cocktail menu.

We stopped in for Happy Hour before going next door to Pizzeria Bianco for dinner. The specials included draft beer and a red and white wine. The historic atmosphere is really cool and gave the place a comfortable feel. The bartender, and future Cicerone, James was fun and knowledgeable in the history of Heritage Square as well as in the wine and beer he was serving.

Stopped in just for dessert. Their flourless chocolate cake sounds simple and typical, but my word. It is the most elegant and beautifully crafted flavor experience I ever had so far in my life. Just go try it. Thank me later. The staff was personable and knowledgable. I can’t rave about this place enough.

Great cappuccinos. Exceptional chocolate cake. Although flat with cream. Was perfect after dinner place. Most people are bidding times before pizza Bianca. But a perfect spot for after dinner drinks or night caps and the outside patio is perfect.

Really good service. James at the bar made some really good recommendations. The place is right next to Pizzeria Bianco. So while you wait for a table there, come here for a drink and kick it. They also have a great wine menu, if you’re into that. I guess on Fridays they have a live band playing inside.

This little off shoot of Pizza Bianco is quaint and a nice place to stop for one amazing antipasto! Wow it had fabulous marinated grilled veggies a la broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, and squash… The bartender was amazing! The beer selection is good, both drafts and bottles. The wine list looked good too! I had wanted to order from pizza bianco, but they don’t do to go orders… So that’s not good?!! Parking is… Well pretty non-existent but the valet is awesome, he saved my day!

Very cool place. Located right next to Pizzeria Bianco and ran by the same owners(they get their drinks from here for the restaurant). Staff was amazing and the atmosphere was super chill and relaxed. Great place to have a drink under the stars in Arizona. We walked over to have a drink while we waited for our table at the pizzeria and time went by so fast that we weren’t ready to go when our table was ready. But staff was so kindly to take our drinks over for us. A must if you’re in the area.

Yep, like many other Unilocalers, I have also come here while waiting for pizza. I actually like the whole looooooong experience of waiting for pizza and drinking some wine before hand. My fiancé and I usually go through a bottle of wine and maybe more depending on how long we have to wait. Bar Bianco is a super cute and quaint place hangout. We have had excellent service here by the bartenders and they are very knowledgeable on the wines they sell. We tried the cheese plate once and it was delicious. Other than that, we stick to wine. This place is great for a date or a small gathering.

Like pretty much every customer, we were in Bar Bianco while waiting for a seat in Pizzeria Bianco. Some people view it as a scam, but I see it as a brilliant part of the experience set up by the owner. You can wait outside in the heat, go somewhere else for a while, or you can chill at a historic house in Heritage Square and have a drink or a small bite. My fiancé and I found a little spot at the corner of the bar. She ordered an organic cider which came in a massive bottle. For $ 7 she got two glasses worth of booze. I’ll take that deal. I tried some organic micro brew beer some oregon(I don’t recall the name), which was also delicious. Prices aren’t bad, especially when you consider they can easily gauge all the customers waiting to get into the restaurant. The selection is fairly limited, but I would even recommend Bar Bianco as a place to spot just have a drink in a cool spot(so long as you have an excuse to be downtown when you do).

I love the feeling of bar bianco. It’s a small historic house right next to Pizzeria Bianco where you can hang out and play chess or checkers(They have a couple of sets on the tables inside) and wait for your name to be called to go into the main restaurant. It’s got a cozy feeling, and is a really great place to enjoy a glass of one, or a fresh pint with friends before the main meal. They have some pretty good starters here as well. Last time I went I shared the olive bowl(green and black olives with herbs), candied pecans, and cheese tray. All of which were quite tasty. The service is great here, and I always look forward to going to pizzeria bianco, because we usually make a stop here at the bar first!

We tripped upon this on the way to Rose and Crown… and thought we would stop here due to all the TV coverage we’ve seen. We walked in and we were greeted by a nice young man, but then it went downhill from there. Bar area is super small — seats 6 at the bar and 4 other seats in the corners.. THEMALEBARTENDERDIDNOTBOTHERTOACKNOWLEDGEUS… we couldn’t figure that out. I had to make the long two step walk to the bar to order my drink because he didn’t offer. I think we would have had better service to sit outside on the porch. Finally got an appetizer menu from the FRIENDLY greeter busboy. The cheese plate is misnamed as it had more raisins and almonds than cheese… crostini was too hard and fell apart if you tried to spread the cheese on it. Overall, we do not recommend this establishment.

As someone else said, «If you’re going to be waiting for pizza… spend your time here. Have a great conversation, enjoy local brews, you won’t regret it.» The appetizers are great and I had the most fun in a long time challenging someone else at the table to a game of checkers with a board they had there and bottle caps for pieces. It took us a little bit to remember the setup and rules but we soon got into the swing and unfortunately(if it one could really say that with any meaning) before our game was over someone came over and said our table was ready next door. Bottom line, an easy way to pass the time!

They have a small, but respectable beer menu. Friendly gent at the bar, and a very cozy atmosphere. But.let’s be honest. No one is coming here for the beer menu, décor, or friendly staff. You’re boozin’ up waiting for the damned delicious pizza next door.

Hm, didn’t realize Bar Bianco had their own review page. In short, awesome rustic feeling re-purposed house, smoking hot bartender woman, relaxed and comfy country style patio, and delicious Four Peaks on tap.

We were forced to come here since we had an estimated two hour wait for Pizzeria Bianco located next door. They have a selection of wine & beer. I loved the moscato but it was $ 10 for a glass. Beer selections are much more affordable. The ambience is really cute and wasn’t crowded. We ordred 1 appetizer which was the crostini. It was SOO small for $ 6. Two pieces of bread & four olives. Definitely not share-worthy. This is a good place to go with long-lost friends since you’ll be waiting at least 1 hour if not more for pizza next door.
