Can’t say enough about BravaMD… The entire staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. Lori is amazing! She listens, goes over everything before the procedure, and takes her time. I highly recommend. You will not find a better staff.

I originally saw Lori for Botox in mid-April, 2015. I used a groupon for 20 units. Lori recommended that I purchase an additional 22 units to achieve results around my eyes and forehead(for a total of 42 units). I told Lori that on at least 10 prior occasions, my physician-friends only used 10 units on me, with visible results, so 20 units would be more than adequate. Lori administered the 20 units. During the visit, Lori stated«sometimes we get a bad batch, and patients don’t notice much effect, so if that happens, call me.» That seemed strange, until 10 days post-procedure and I still had not noticed a change. I called and reported this to Lori, and she recommended I come back. I went back, thinking she would give me a deal or refund me, but instead her only solution was to offer to sell me 22 more units of Botox. In an effort to achieve any visible result, I purchased around 10 more units. Unfortunately, I still received no visible result. In all, I spent around $ 170 for no improvement. And this wasn’t an issue of me having unrealistic expectations or refusing to acknowledge improvement — there was no change. I recently went back to a physician-friend who administered 8 units on me, and I achieved the same results I had come to expect. He told me that a lot of these high-volume strip-mall cosmetic centers severely dilute their vials of Botox in order to make more of the solution(the Botox comes as a powder and the provider reconstitutes the product with saline). The provider has total discretion to decide how much saline to add. That is the only way these businesses can afford to sell Botox so affordably. In fairness, I only have anecdotal evidence(i.e., my experience) that would support BravaMD doing this. But, it just doesn’t make any sense that 30 units would have no effect. Also, I should mention that Lori is very nice. She just needs a product that is reconstituted per manufacturer recommendations. I would gladly pay more for something that works.
