Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. Staff is very friendly, I called at 8:30 this morning and they had an appointment for 9:30 which was unexpected but happened to work great for my scheduled. They welcomed me politely when I walked in the door… which doesn’t happen at a lot of businesses these days. Didn’t have to wait long(5 minutes if even that long) at which point they took me to a room to do all of the usual blood pressure, temp, height, and weight checks. Very friendly throughout. And again not long of a wait for the Dr to see me after that. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bruce since I was a kid, and there is a reason I travel from the east valley to see him. Very knowledgeable and to the point. Dry humor which I enjoy. Makes me feel comfortable even though I only have to see him once every 1 – 2 years. My guess is the other reviewers went at busy times, and/or thought they were above having to wait for the doctor or staff to help people that were there before them. Kind of ridiculous, especially if you’re late to an appointment. Regardless, both of them said Doctor Bruce was great, and isn’t that kind of the point? Maybe take a star or two off for support staff not catering to your every desire or having to fit you in despite you being late, but giving the DOCTOR you just claimed was great a 1 or 3 star review because of staff is just whiny.

So Dr Bruce has been my doctor for years. YEARS! Dr. Bruce himself is a great doctor and incredibly smart and I would totally give him 5 stars, but his staff… ugh I had a 3pm appointment on Monday. When I set the appointment I asked if there was anything earlier because I had to be somewhere at 4:30. The nurse said no, but the appointment would take no more than 30 minutes. So I showed up 5 minutes late. But I called ahead of time to tell them but didn’t get a chance to because I hung up after being on hold for 10 minutes. At 4pm(after waiting in the waiting room for nearly an hour) I finally got up and let the nurse know that I could not wait any longer and needed to reschedule. No apology or anything, just rolled her eyes and made it painfully obvious that I was hugely inconveniencing her. On a much earlier occasion(2 yrs ago maybe), I had called and left a rather detailed message requesting a prescription refill. I was told I would be called back in a couple hours. I wasn’t I called back the next day and left another message which was never returned. Called 2 days later and hung up after being on hold for several minutes. Two weeks later out of the blue, one of the nurses called me back and asked what I needed. The message that someone had left was just to call me back. She told me there were no details beyond me wanting a call back.
