Cafe Sai Gon

The most delicious vietnamese sandwich in arizona. You guys should try it. More fabulous with the vietnamese coffee and the smoothies in here. Awesome. I am going to there every weekend.

After a movie at Christown Harkins, a friend and I went here because we wanted some coffee and wanted to try something in the area that was not the usual coffee destination. It was different, all right. Located just a few establishments away from the popular Da Vang Vietnamese restaurant, this divey café has lots of seating, is dimly lit — which was OK for us because we just wanted to relax and chill a bit, had a small dance floor in the middle and all the requisite lights, sound equipment and mirror ball, and was relatively quiet (it was late afternoon during our visit) except for the FIFA game on the big flatscreen at the end of the café. The staff was friendly and immediately served us complimentary glasses of iced tea. It was a hot afternoon so they offered us a boba menu but we decided to go for iced Vietnamese coffee, which was delicious. It was an OK place to relax and have pleasant conversation over refreshing beverages.
