From the moment I contacted Matt with my carbon frame issue he excelled my expectations. I communicated with him over email and sent him some photos of the damage to my road bike. He gave me some quick advice and let me know that he wouldn’t know for sure if he could fix it or not. He would have to look at it to make an accurate assessment of the damage. When I finally brought it to his shop he said it would be a difficult fix, but that he was confident he could fix it. He gave me a rough estimate on how much it would cost me, but said he wouldn’t know the exact number until taking it apart. I left my bike with him and within a few days he emailed me a detailed assessment of damage and repair cost. I agreed to the price he quoted me and he began working on my bike. Within 2 weeks he contacted me to let me know the bike was fully repaired and he was satisfied with the results.
Matt is a great guy and a good person. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. My bike looks flawless and you can barely tell it was repaired. He did a professional job and it’s a work of art being able to repair carbon fiber frames. If anything happens to any of my carbon fiber bike frames, I will not hesitate to bring it back to Matt for repair. Top notch service!

I recently broke my carbon fiber roadbike frame and needed a repair/​replacment. My local shop Curbside Cyclery in Ahwatukee recommended that I give Matt Conrad a call at Journey Bicycles. I am very glad that I did. He repaired my broken seat stay on my bike within a week, and it is like new. The service is excellent. At the risk of sharing too much, Matt picked up my bike, and delivered it back to me, and handled the repair, all within a week. He pointed out a few other mechanical items that would need to be resolved prior to my riding as well.
