This company is very misleading. They advertise quality, high-​paying jobs as though they are interviewing for them. But they are not placing candidates in these advertised jobs. It seems they are looking for quality candidates who are desperate for a good job in this tough economy, in hopes they have several thousand dollars to give to Career Solutions for help in their job search.
The first «interview» is all about the candidate, profile, job needs, skills, so that the candidate feels the company is really doing due diligence to place them in the appropriate job. In the second interview, it is revealed that the candidate will in fact be doing the work in the job search, and Career Solutions will be providing the guidance. Furthermore, they reveal they do not have open jobs to fill, they are simply the hand-​holding and cheerleader while you do the ground work to get the job that’s right for you.
I’m a highly educated person who does not need to pay someone to learn communication, networking and selling yourself skills. If I’m going to pay someone several thousand dollars to find me a job, I better not be making several hours of calls to promote myself, write letters with the proper terminology, meeting hours per week with a coach, etc. Someone better be doing ALL of this for me! And, they better actually have jobs that they are seeking candidates for!
I wasted six hours of my time and one hour of my friends time– she had to fill out a questionnaire about me too. Deeply disappointed!

My husband was contacted by Career Solutions and asked to come in for an interview. Before he agreed, he asked them point-​blank if there was a charge to him for their services. They assured him there was not — that all fees were paid by the hiring company.
He went in for his first interview earlier this week. He filled out various questionnaires, a personality profile, etc. They even e-​mailed a questionnaire for me to complete.
The next step was for both of us to come in together for an interview. I didn’t think too much of it since at the executive level, spouses and family situations are often considerations in employment, even if they’re not supposed to be.
After listening to about 20 minutes of an obvious sales pitch, the matter of payment reared its ugly head. In short, they wanted $ 5000 upfront for their services, plus an additional $ 300 administrative fee if my husband found a job on his own.
When we interjected that my husband had been told all fees were paid by the hiring company, the sales rep got very defensive.
I don’t know if this company’s services are worth $ 5000 or not, but if you set up an interview with them, just be aware of how they really get their money.
They blatantly lied to my husband.
