RUN AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!
Mr. Michael Fenneman claims he runs a business and that’s why he charged $ 100 for what he stated: I just «reseted the unit, found nothing else wrong» (verbatim). The words used by the prior to reviewers here such as «quick, honest, and competitive pricing» didn’t come to mind when I used these guys. I only write reviews when I can have a positive impact on people but this time I felt compelled to share my experience so nobody has to deal with this problem again.

AC went out, and called Michael first thing Monday morning. It worked out that he was here within the hour! AC is up and running again on this 104 degree day. Thank you for your quick arrival and fix time, and your honest and very reasonable price!
Have used Controlled Comfort for the 2^nd time now, and have our new ac and heating repair man now for sure!

Cannot say enough about how happy I am we chose Controlled Comfort! Michael was on time; honest, serviced our heater and air conditioner, and said all looked great. Our ac unit is very old, and he could have said it needed alot.
The price was so fair and so reasonable! Really, really happy customer!!!

What a find! This place is fantastic. Michael is honest and timely, two things you don’t always find in this field. As a bonus, their prices are very competitive, coming in as the best of the three companies that sent quotes.
Michael was out within a few days of my request for a quote. Unit is on the roof so I didn’t need to be there. Quote was turned around very quickly. Once I chose Controlled Comfort, the wheels moved right along. The unit was ordered only requiring a deposit until the install was done.
The day before the install, I was called as a reminder. They were right on time, in fact a bit early. The AC unit followed shortly after while they prepped. The crane was right on time. They got the AC in place, and about an hour later, there was cold air blowing.
I was invited on the roof to inspect, and saw what a great job they did. I could tell they took pride in their work, and there was no mess left behind for me to deal with.
These guys are great. You won’t be disappointed.
