In November, 2007 I was sent to HealthSouth Scottsdale following a long illness and lengthy coma.
The first Physician I saw was Dr. Cunningham and he was blunt, but also honest and very optimistic regarding my recovery.
When he told me that I’d be walking within a week, I thought he was crazy, yet, I WAS walking in SIX DAYS.
I am thrilled to say that in my return to Arizona now, almost eight years later, I have selected Dr. Cunningham as my primary care physician and highly recommend him to ANYONE who wishes to engage a doctor who truly cares about his patients.

He can be very straight forward and sometimes a bit blunt even. He does seem to care about his patients and comes across as very knowledgeable as he has pointed out things that no other doctor has. I am rather impressed so far.
