David Clarkson Sr – State Farm Insurance Agent

BEWARE! I was a State Farm client for 6 years. In Nov I called my agents office to let them know my bank account had been compromised and I needed to send in a money order in place of electronic payment for the month. I sent in my payment on the due date of Nov. 25. 3 weeks later I get a cancellation notice. They claimed to never get the payment. I made another payment while trying to figure out what happened so my insurance didn’t get cancelled. Thinking someone stole the money order and cashed it, I got a copy of the money order to see what happened. It was cashed on Nov. 30^th by someone with direct deposit only. My agents office decided to tell me I had no proof it was State Farm who cashed the check, blah, blah, blah. Since it was obvious they were not going to do anything I went to Chase Bank who cashed the check. They confirmed, in a matter of minutes, it went to State Farm. I sent all the information I had spent countless hours collecting to my agents office as well as corporate. Long story short, on Dec. 30^th corporate confirmed they credited the money to the wrong account — State Farm error. Today is Jan. 22^nd and they still haven’t sent me the refund check. Never once did my agent call to try and figure things out. His office help sent an email or two but never helped in any way. When I called today to cancel my insurance, no one would take my call. Very unprofessional. Don’t expect any assistance from this office for anything. Worst. Service. Ever.
