A nicely kept clean large Park for all to enjoy. FYI — A call to the City of Phoenix revealed the Desert Foothills Park is NOT an off leash dog park. The City of Phoenix clerk stated citizens need to read and obide by park rules or join together in attending city meetings to change Desert Foothills park into a dog park. They need to follow the rules like everybody else. If they don’t like it off leash dog owners going to this park need to help change the rules. Other than that, as stated this park is beautiful. Its facilities are clean, the baseball diamonds are situated in a scenic area, and parking is ample. I would have given a higher rating if the people that brought their dogs unleashed had more respect for both city park rules and the phoenix citizens that do. Don’t be bullied by people who bring their dog unleashed to this park. Suggestion is to use common sense for instance avoid going to this park if your dog is being trained to be on a leash.

Early morning any time is perfect, for the most part people pick up after their dogs; all dogs are well behaved so far… Our puppy is a work in progress

This park is great for the little ones. It is very big for a toddler who likes to run around. We went here twice during our vacation in PHX. My son loved the slide and the big hill. The playground equipment is nice for big and small kids.
