Dining at Student Union

I love going to the union here at GCU. I miss the buffet of the olden days. I really miss when it was beach themed.

Been here twice now. This is located in the Student Union building. Lunch is $ 9. For that you get access to an American grill, a Chinese stir fry station, a sandwich and salad bar, vegan bar, desert bar, and a main bar. Not to mention coffee, juice, flavored water, soda, milk, soymilk, even one of those fancy soda machines where you can make orange coke or grape mello yellow. (I prefer vanilla sprite) So I have been to each station at least once, and I think for $ 9 that is a good deal. The American grill has pizza, hamburger, hot dog, fries, and they had cheese quesadillas as well. The menu does change daily, and the website tells you what they’re serving each day that week. The Chinese bar is pretty good; you choose your veggies and noodles and then pick chicken, tofu, or no meat and then you put the sauce after. The desert bar has 6 different soft serve machines and various treats. They always have a nice variety of stuff on the salad and sandwich bar including a few pasta salads and some really good tuna salad. I’d take this over anywhere else on campus as far as a meal swipe (or $ 9) goes
