The last appointment that took an hour and a half before we were seen by the doctor should have been a red flag but… it’s a shame they’re convenient and looking for another doctor would be difficult. Apparently, calling a few weeks in advance for more contact lenses is not long enough. Still waiting for a call back from his office. Looks like ordering online will be faster. The back office and support staff are extremely disorganized and don’t care about your time.
I will say the doctor, himself, individualizes every treatment plan which is a positive! One doctor said my son was too young for contacts, while Dr. Plotnik was more than willing to prescribe my son contacts. Six months into it, my son wears them without a problem!

The Dr. is great, but the place is absolutely filthy. I want to sanitize my girl and not let her touch anything while in the waiting rooms. The staff is a bit on the unprofessional side as well. This is a professional medical office… not a gym.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Plotnik for 10 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. He is kind, professional, and takes time for each patient. All the staff are exceptional as well. I highly recommend him as your child’s eye Dr.

We saw another doctor in the same practice for years, and after our final bad experience (there were many), we went to see Dr. Plotnik. I wish we would have made the change much, much sooner.
Dr. Plotnik is fantastic with kids and generous with his time. He is more than willing to answer ALL of your questions, and thoroughly explains the different options you have available. Dr. Plotnik is a MUST-​SEE for kids with eye issues!
